St. Louis Owners Group.
Hello, VJ here. The cruise was indeed a blast. Dbirk and his wife are the sweetest two people you would ever want to meet. We had such a good visit. I loved the cruise even as short as it was. I had never been to St. Charles before... Its an awesome town. The restaurant was great and the nicest waitress. I stayed pretty late beings I had an hour drive home. Happy to report I got home before curfew, haha, and all was well. I was happy that my family was still awake for me to tell them what a good time I had.
The Chrysler event was great. There wasn't a big crowd at all and even though I had missed my afternoon appointment for the test drive, they did let me take two thrill rides. They were awesome. The smell of rubber burning and the tires squealing made me feel like a Nascar driver or something! You could sure feel the power in that little Crossfire SRT6. And the 300C. I'm not sure what was so special about the car itself, its cool, I think it had a Hemi in it and it was supercharged. It was one fast beast. I would never have dreamed a "family" car like that would get up and scoot like that thing did.
The concept car was totally awesome as DBirk said... I fell in love with the 300C convertible. I believe I even mentioned to DBirk and his wife that would be my next new car... Can't wait for you all to get a peak at it... Not sure when they will produce them but its a gorgeous car if you ask me.
All in all I had a wonderful evening... DBirk and Debra made me feel so comfortable. It was as if I had known them for years. Very friendly, warm hearted people.
Im looking forward to our next cruise...
I do hope DBirk and Debra enjoyed their ride today...
PS. I loved the cd they gave me too... I enjoyed listening to it on my way home from St. Charles.. Thanks so much.

I think these new discounts are producing more XFire owners, at least I am certainly meeting more on the road! Today I saw a blue coupe with Don Schunk paper plates on I-70 at Mid Rivers. A black roadster this morning in the same general area. This past week I saw a white roadster on Dorsett Rd heading onto the I-270 South ramp, as I was exiting from I-270 onto Dorsett. And the next morning, as I was leaving my house in Pinehurst, off Dorsett, I saw a blue coupe going East on Dorsett. Those are the most sightings I have had in the past year. We paid full sticker last year for mine, because no dealerships in St. Louis had any roadsters, but I don't begrudge the money at all. We love our little girl!! But it is nice to see more beautiful XFires on the road.
We were able to go to the event on Sunday morning and loved riding with the stunt drivers. Sorry we had to miss the cruise on Saturday.

Hi All!
We are owners of a new 2005 silver/blue coupe, and looking forward to seeing your Crossfires on the road. My wife and I are looking forward to any possible fall events, and will check this thread. We hope to meet up with you all in the near future. We live near the Eureka/ Six Flags area.

All St. Louis Metro Owners...
We'll be postponing the fall cruise due to limited interest and a lack of time for me to organize.
I would like to ask the group if they would be interested in a Spring cruise. We'll plan to start in Augusta and drive the curvy roads (safely!).
Hopefully, starting now to plan for an April cruise will result in a larger turnout.
Please email me at dbirk@yahoo.com if you are at all interested in cruising with us in April. Include the Saturdays and Sundays you would be available to attend.
I apologize for having to pull the plug on the fall cruise but hope we'll have a good turnout in April.

Check out the 2006 SRT Nationals thread in this section. We'd love to have the St. Louis owners join us in Topeka KS July 19-22 for the big event. www.srtnationals.org
I know I'm digging up an old thread, but I'm a new member looking for a lead on an SRT-6 coupe. If anyone knows of a brand new one around the area for sale, or if someone has one and would like to give me a ride I'd appreciate it.

Greetings everyone. My name is Shark. It looks like this thread has been rather inactive lately. I am quite interested in getting a group together from St. Louis and the surrounding area. If anyone is interested send me a message or visit this link .. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=21645 So far we have myself and snowtop57. I will be working my way through all of the old post and sending out pm's to everyone regarding a new group.

Are you looking at the Roadster or the coupe? Bought my roadster (new 06)last April from Dave Croft in Collinsville and got a pretty decent deal. I noticed he has quite a few again. I think South County Chrysler & Glendale Chrysler also have quite a few new 07 & 08 models. This car is the most fun car I've had in my 30+ years of driving.
i am looking at a roadster. i think that the coupe looks kinda funny to me. Anyway yeah i really like the black or silver xf's. i found a 05 with 6k for 16,900.... so i thought that was a good deal. but that was a white coupe. anyway i am looking for a car to put some money into before me and my wife have kids. are they fun to drive do they have sdecent power? i have a bagged 02 stratus right now.
There are a number Crossfire owners in the St. Louis Metro area that subscribe to this forum.
I've had Reddy Freddy ('04 Blaze Red Coupe, 5spd Auto) since March '05 and recently put a Chrysler extended warranty on mine (7 yrs, 85,000 miles). Bought mine brand new with 13 miles on it from Jim Rush in Bolivar, MO. Took a Greyhound bus to save $10,000 off sticker.
At one time, I wanted to start a St. Louis owners group but have never taken the time to organize since our first cruise we did several years ago.
Reddy shares the daily driving duties with my '01 PT Cruiser. Two way cool cars to drive to work, I am most blessed for sure!
You should be able to shop around. Check AutoTrader and you can find some real deals on new and used Crossfires. Since the car is essentially a '04 Mercedes Benz SLK320, I'd suggest buying a new one. Chrysler will give you a lifetime warranty on the driver train and buying a "badged" Mercedes of similar quality, ride, and drive would cost you X0,000s more.
I have over 33,000 trouble free miles, but you know how German cars are

Live in St Peter's now for 32 years.
Had to go to Ohio to find a deal on the roadster I wanted. Nobody had a ragtop stick in Saphire Blue. Purchased 01/31/08
There are a few out here near Lake St Louis. I'm a daily driver and make sales calls in the city, mostly near the "Hill"
Look forward to bumping into some other Xfires (or maybe Snowtop's avatar). Figuratively speaking of course.

Snowtop57, I've been in this forum for weeks. I've read lots of your posts but just now looked to the right side of the screen and noticed your address. I can't imagine why I never looked there before.

Hey guy's good to see some local activity on here. I'm working on a new St. Louis group. There are a few of us signed up so far. The thread can be found a little farther down in the mid-west forum. If anyone is interested let me know.

That's probably because you can't take your eyes off the left side of my posts.
