Default Fall XF drive to Hell

Ms Gump/Judi invited us to enjoy the roads in and around Hell, near Pickney/Ann Arbor/Dexter. Great weather, roads that are very similar to the Dragon and lunch. A Michigan Tall of the Newt (our version of a dragon) meet should be planned for next year.

MsGump gave this info as to where we were:
We were on Huron River Drive and we only travel on the last half of it....next time we will backtrack and drive the whole thing....also we were on North Territorial and could have taken that further into some really nice curvy roads..next time!!!

If anyone wants to pull a map out and plan something......................

I'd be glad to organize it with MSG's input, but time is very tight and weather is getting iffy.

Any takers for Oct 12th, 18th or 19th?

In the back of one of the isues of Road & Track there was a pictures of the "Hell" road sign with icicles hanging on it. So, the point is Hell does freeze over.

Going back to the Dragon at the end of the month so HELL will be waiting for me next year I guess.

The weather on saturday is suppose to be sunny and 70 degrees sounds like topless weather to me....is our Paw Paw rally open to any and all xfires in the area? Might be the last day with great weather like that..

Looks like a helluva trip.

I remember going there years ago......I think I still have a bumper sticker that says I've been to Hell and back.
