How to know when your group is in trouble. I saw this picture of ProjectMayhem at the top of the site a few minutes.

I can't believe he is that in love with his car he would wear these as earrings.

OMG That's huge. I wouldn't make fun of the guy too much though. I've ridden in his X-fire and there is no way you are going to get away from him if he chases you... LOL

Remember what they say about old age and treachery....but I'll be as honest as I care to...I'm not saying shark067 didn't put me up to this.

Well we do aim to please.

BTW I looked at some of your pics.

Congrats on the awards. I have to say honestly that your X-fire blows away FP's any day of the week.

My new 16x9's I knew that picture was trouble when i took it... its just to show the diameter =P. When i slap some 26x11.5 outlaw style street slicks on them traction shouldn't be a problem next season. Adjustable shocks and a rear camber kit and maybe i can be the frist X-fire to lift the front wheels off the ground =)

Nah these are just for mounting on track days, had to go with a 15 or 16inch rim to fit any of the good DOT approved drag tires. I'm going to do a test fit monday to make sure the wheel shop bored out the hub to the right size.

Hello,
We're new Xfire owners, so be gentle.....

The Crossfire was a gift for my wife, Kathleen's, birthday. I bought a 2005, SRT6 Roadster in blue, with just over 13,000 miles. It was owned by a couple in Florida who own a European car repair facility, and they really took nice care of the car. Fortunately, the kids kept the secret, and Kathleen was completely surprised. And fortunately, she absolutely loves it!

Sue was nice enough to approach me about the club, and we are both looking forward to participating in a future event! As I told Sue, we didn't know that owning a Crossfire is sort of like becoming a member of a fraternity of sorts. We're pleasantly surprised, and looking forward to meeting you folks!

Jay

If the rest of these guys don't mind a cheesehead crashing this here thread, in my humble opinion, you've just become an unofficial member of one of the best group of Crossfire owners around.
I'm assuming that you've already warned your wife that her new SRT goes very, very fast & that Aero Blue IS the fastest color ?

I'm leaving now. This thread is kinda spooky...........

Welcome Jaybird and wife. Sorry to hear of your affliction but there is help.
It is a five six or so step program depending on how far it is from you house door to you Xfire door. Get in an drive. It is the only treatment.

The Gateway Crossfire Group has regular therapy sessions. Welcome.

BTW, Finally another SRT to tease!!!! Cruxprye Femella was starting to beat me regularly.

Good morning gang. I mentioned previously that there was another get-together on the way. This will be an evening event at Our Lady of the Snows for the annual Christmas Light show. There is a 1.5 mile drive to view the light plus if we get 16 people together then we get a private group dinner too.
Our Lady of the Snows is located in Belleville IL. Right now I am looking at Dec. 5th at 6:00 pm (Date and time set)
Please take a look at the link and your calenders and let's see if we can get at least 16 of us together.
Christmas is a special time of year meant to be celebrated with family and friends. Personally I can't think of a better group of friends anywhere than the one's I have come to know here, along with those of you I have yet to meet.

Kell

P.S. For those of you who have never had the opportunity before, there will be camel rides available. Debbie and I are planning to take advantage of this opportunity.

Driver's List
  1. The Shark's
  2. G&T1stxfire
  3. Franc & Crumpy

Our Lady of the Snows is located in Belleville IL. Right now I am looking at either the first Fri or Sat in Dec. or the second Fri or Sat in Dec.

Kell,
Add Teresa and I to the drivers list, if your going on the 5th. We would love to get together again before the end of the year! We already have commitments on the 12th.

Put Crumpy and the roadster with a stick on thelist.

I have two new prospective members to invite. Amazingly, neither have computers but they do have Crossfires. In other words, they know what is important in life.
