Hello GCG'ers. Seems in my haste to post a gtg that I failed to proof read my own post.
1) The day and date is Sat Sept. 19 not Sat Sept. 20.
2) Due to the short notice of this run, most of you are unable to attend do to prior commitments. (this of course if perfectly understandable)
Anyway, armed with this knowledge I am formaly cancelling the activities for Sat Sept. 19.
This however is not the end of events for the year.
Oktoberfest in Hermann is rapidly approaching and it's a great time for a long drive since the temperatures are usually very nice and the fall colors are at their best. I know some of you are heading back east to run the Dragon over Halloween and have full schedules for the rest of the month but hopefully the rest of you have an opening in your schedule. I'll post a date by the end of the week.
Kell
P.S. : If you haven't had the chance to go and run the Dragon in TN and NC I highly recomend it. I didn't really appreciate and understand what my x-fire was capable of untill I went.

Greetings all. Here is the information for the Hermann Oktoberfest GTG on Sat. Oct 24th.
We will be meeting up at the Cracker Barrel at Hwy 40 and Hwy K at 10:00 am for breakfast. Then we will head out for Hermann to take part in the Oktoberfest activities. (bring your walking shoes) It is about a 60 mile run, each way, and has lots of curves and some very good straights.
If you have any questions feel free to email me shark067@yahoo.com
If you are planning to attend or think might attend, please post a message.
See everyone out there.

Quick question. I keep seeing a red coupe parked outside the bookstore at WashU. The driver wouldn't happen to be a member of this forum, would they? Every time I see it I miss my car
Freshman can't have cars on campus

Meanwhile "welcome to St Louis."
If you want to go on one of our Cruises or a Coffee I have an empty seat in my roadster. So does Cathy (Cruxpyre Femela) in her SRT.

What kind of x-fire do you have?

Greetings to all. The colors of the trees are changing and it's a great time to take a country drive. Just a reminder, the GCG is having an Oktoberfest rally on Sat. Oct, 24th at 10:00am. We are meeting at Cracker Barrel in O'Fallon, MO for breakfast and then heading out to Hermann, MO.
Cracker Barrel is located on Hwy k just off of Hwy 40/64 at 120 Progress Point Ct. #1 on the map.
Then we will head out for Hermann to take part in the Oktoberfest activities. (bring your walking shoes) It is about a 60 mile run, each way, and has lots of curves and some very good straights.

I think I'll see if I can find out whose red coupe it is next time I see it.

It may be one from my neighborhood, there are three to four of them including mine. I did see one scooting by pretty fast this past week in the rain coming from St. Charles about 5:45 or so on Page extention...we both got lucky the cop on the shoulder didn't get us. Either way, it was heading all the way down Page and more than likely picked up 170 to the Parkway.
Let us know when you get yours back, we always enjoy having others join us.
Shark, we won't be going as we'll be leaving for the Dragon the following Thurs. Have a great time!
was that in Maryland heights? I had to punch it making a turn the other week when a red x-fire was flying down the road while i was turning onto Dorsett. Wasn't a close call or anything but i did get my heart pumping a little

I have had my xf for almost a year now and have never been able to attend any meets because my schedule has never mixed. I will be attending as long as I have the car back from the shop by Saturday morning. I look forward to meeting everyone.

We are a go for Sat. morning. I'll be there a little early (hopefully) whoever gets there first grab the biggest parking area. There could be as many as 7 or 8 X-fires there for breakfast.
A special thanks to Franc and Crumpy, and the Erzer's for coming out to breakfast to meet everyone. I know they are getting ready to run the Dragon next weekend and have chores at home to get finished up.
See everyone in the AM.
