Doc, If I wax her car, I'm going to get my efforts worth and make a pass,...... at her. She might say yes.

On the other hand, if I ask her to let me take her car to the track, she will say no.

I'm soooooo weak.

Hello everyone. We have a new member to the GCG. His name is emforce. Please take a moment to welcome him to the family.

Deb and I are away for the week doing a little fishing and relaxing before I start nursing school next month.

See everyone when we get back.

Kell

Welcome to emforce. Looking forward to seeing you in your XF.
We joined only a few months ago, but can tell you there are a bunch of good folks in this group.

Have a good week.

Greetings fellow GCG members. I am looking ahead on my calander to Sept. 19th or 20th to hold an End of Summer get-together. I'm open for ideas if anyone has a suggestion. Send me an email to Shark067@yahoo.com and let me know what you think.

Just a heads up I wont be racing at gateway this tuesday the 6 needs to go in for some warranty work thats been piling up. Oil leak from the valve covers, passanger headlight sun scorched(had the driver side one placed last fall), and try to see if they will replace my factory coolant resevoir since i broke off the plastic overflow tube.

I all but melted my serpentine belt last tuesday, some of the oil leaked on my pulley and belts and caused some major slippage, time were rather slow with the belt slipping belt slipping had a 12.3 and12.5 pass then just watched everyone else race that night.

Lightbulb Re: Gateway Crossfire Group

Greetings to the GCG group. During the last outing, it was discussed that we should all meet to go over a few preliminary ideas for the rally being held in St. Louis next year. We realize this is short notice, but we wondered if a BBQ the afternoon of Sunday Sept 6th would work? We could all get together, have a few cold ones, shoot some pool, discuss next year, or whatever. This is not a planned driving event like Kell is considering later in the month. We would host at our place, and we were thinking of going “pot luck” where we will supply the brats/hamburgers/hotdogs, beer, & soda, and attendees would each bring a dish/dessert. We were looking at a timeframe of 1-5 or 6 PM that day. If interested, pm via the forum.

Any interest?

Ruth and I have a conflicting BBQ with her brother...we've a feeling his step son is going to announce an engagement. It starts at 2pm and is up in the Hazelwood/Florissant area so I highly doubt we will be there by the time it is over.

Have fun.

I think Cathy and I can make it. We will be painting the house that week end and could use a break.

Not sure yet what we'll bring.

Drink a beer or paint a house, let me think, even I could make that decision!

Glad to have ya, we will be in contact to get you directions and firm up the menu a bit.

Have a great week, the weather is perfect to run the roadsters!

We really enjoyed having the group over, and look forward to the next get together.

Thanks to everyone for coming. (Kell, your speciality is almost gone!)

Have a great week. Weather looks good for the ragtop owners!

Hey Gang. I had briefly mentioned a gtg for next weekend, sept 19 or 20. Sorry I haven't had much time to put into the planning of it as I normally do. Going back to school it taking a lot of my time.
Anyway, here it is. Sat. Sept 20, meet up at the Cracker Barrel at Hwy 40 and Hwy K at 10:00 am for breakfast. Then we will head out for Stone Hill Winery in Hermann for a tour and tasting. Afterwards we either have lunch somewhere in Hermann or hit the road again. It is about a 60 mile run and has lots of curves and some very good straights. If you have any questions feel free to email me shark067@yahoo.com

My weekends are booked, all the way to the Dragon Meet.

I can't go and Cathy is still out of commission with her back.
