Scuffed up enough to handle well.

Slightly smaller but should improve your times.
a lot of work to change tires. but,after all, you took out your windshield washer reservior to go faster.

Lol if i never use it and it slows me down it comes off the car... . Not to mention it holds several gallons... thats a lot of liquid weight sloshing around.

 

I could be worse and gut 700lbs out of the X-fire and be like HHDP's car

I'll have a cooler with ice, the drag tires @38PSI and attitude.

Air will not be that good tonite but we can get TEAM MAYHEM into the 11's for sure.

Well gang, tonight was a bust. While we arrived in plenty of time, we did not get any racing done because the track was closed for repairs. Better luck next time.
Thank you to everyone who came out anyway (Franc & MadMed) we will try again next week.

Kinda sad too cause we had good air, 82 degrees, lotsa ice and attitude. But tailgating with Kell, Mad-Med and his girl friend was a great way to spend an evening.

So, it wasn't completely a bust.
We'll tackle that 11 second mark next Tuesday.

 

Ya found out today as well... tried to give you guys the heads up so you didn't have to waste your trip but my cell phone has pulled a disapearing trick and the forums were aparently down for a while today and couldn't even get the msg to ya!

Talked to Rich Schaefer the drag strip manager and he said something about the grounds crew and drag crew needing some rest... between the outlaw drag series,ADRL,midnight madness, champoinship finale on saturday the strip needed a break and some serious prepwork.

 

Oh how I hate it when my phone goes AWOL like that. I figured you might have hit the same snag as I earlier when the site went down.

We partied with out ya' Had a good time too! You missed some good air pal, and a good time.

Next week though, you had better show. Or I will have to borrow Cathy's SRT and break the 11 second barrier myself, just to save face for TEAM MAYHEM.

Cathy will kill me so please, show up.

Yes i feel awfully bad you guys made the trip and i wasn't able to get word to you i left to go have dinner with jamie tonight and hoped i would find the cell phone in the car before everyone headed out.

I do have some tricks up my sleeve to inch me closer to that 11 sec mark, i had already ported and polished my throttle body plate and didn't have the time to work the outer lip of the throttle body before we made the trip too Eurocharged so i finished that off and should have this new merge pipe instead of the silicone Y I'm using to couple my dual style intake. Well i will just let you see the pictures .

in theory the better angle should have the air mix better and enter the throttlebody faster but the track doesn't lie and we will test it there.
