Default Colorado drive Sat. May 9th

Anyone interested in going for a drive this weekend? Weather is supposed to be windy and 81 on Saturday.

I may be able to make it. What time are you thinking about meeting?

It doesn't have to be early10am or 11am. It looks like the weather is going downhill on Sat. now they are saying only in the 60's. Maybe we should postpone it? Where would you like to go?

I'll have to pass this time... prior plans for Saturday. And Mothers Day, If I go out to the garage it better be to take the trash out, or I'm a dead man!

Would love to go, however, a bad weekend for me with Mothers day on Sunday.

Hey Blackberry, sorry we missed out on your cruise - did you still go?

I'm a Momma myself and spent the weekend with my wonderful daughter - hence not checking the forum until after the fact now.

Discovered after driving with Itsky and Olamar that my baby needs some new shoes (
nuts to those Conti's). Trying to get enough saved up for shiny new rims while I'm at it.

We cancelled out due to the weather and are waiting until we get a nice weekend. I did make it to Woodland Park with a friend in town during the week, when it was so warm, he also has a Porsche. We went to Sonic in the evening for ice cream. What a fun drive that is.

Looking forward to meeting up. New shoes and rims now that sould make her purr. Granddaughter has dance pictures sometime this weekend, we will be in Salida over Memorial weekend with the Crossfire. Looking at going to Mt. Princeton hot springs on Sunday and maybe a drive.

blackberry - How many miles do you have on your car? Sounds like you NEVER sit still! LOL

You guys ever think of a lunch drive up to Cripple Creek some weekend. Would be fun, lots-o-turns.

I will admit we do love to go, we have 23,000 weekend miles. Cripple Creek is a great ride, we have done it many times, making the loop through Victor. We made the trip with Itsky last year, after a side trip up to Hoosier Pass on 24.
If you think you want to make that trip just let me know and we will work something out. Even a trip to the Hungry Bear in Woodland Park for Breakfast is a fun short trip with a cruise through Garden of the Gods.

Have you ever been to Bishops Castle? Check out my albums in the gallery section.

The run between Cripple Creek and Victor is very fun. Short, but if you have no traffic, you can really tear up the road.

The road to Bishop Castle is also fun with no traffic. I'm up for either run. I'll be on vacation next week to Oklahoma taking the jet skis out, but after that, I'm up for a weekend drive anywhere.

Only 23k miles, man are you lucky, I've got double that but mines a daily driver.
Never been to Bishops Castle, looks fun, and I am a huge Breakfast fan. Lets hook-up one weekend for a Woodland Park run. Next couple weekends are full but after that I'm cool.
