Is there interest to go to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. From the rather large summer festival book given to me it looks like a great place for XF members to meet.

As in....Auburn Illinois or number of hours from Chicago to Auburn? I am confused "your ways are foreign to me I am only a caveman"

Depending on the dates, its only 3.5 hrs from Cincinnati. Keep us posted. James

I can not do any of the planning I have WDC on my plate. They are mailing me a new 2009 catalog when it's printed/available, email them at the web site address in the first post to get one sent to you too.

Sounds like a great choice for a get together, I'm definitely interested .....count me in

 

I talked to the visitor center and they are sending me info ...there are 4 museums to tour and plenty of motel/hotel accommodations....I decided to take a first hand tour so I can scout the area and make some informed recommendations for our visit....if anyone would like to join me for the scouting trip I plan on going the weekend of June 19th.

What day are you going to tour it all? I may be able to drive up on the 20th its about 2-3hrs from me

 

I was thinking of going sat morning the 20th....maybe even going on the 19th after work and stay over to check out lodging etc.....I'm getting a package from the visitors center but have not recieved it yet.

Lisa and I are planning on driving to Auburn Ind on this coming Friday, June 19th....going to spend the night and tour the area ...get some motel/restaurant/beer rates....anyone that would like to join us is welcome to come along or meet us there...shouldn't be hard to find us...Judi
