I didn't find a sightings thread for MN so I figured it was a good time to start one.

I was going northbound on Hwy 169 just before the Pioneer Trail exit and passed a graphite limited coupe with critical habitat plates. Wondering if it's someone from the forum.

 

I guess I'm the only guy in this state that sees other crossfires. LOL

Yesterday I saw a black base roadster with chrome rims up around Falcon Heights and this morning I saw a gal in a graphite SRT6 roadster while I was driving up 169 between the river and 494. Wondering if either are members of the forum.

 

How about a member from Minnesota sighting one while on the road,

saw a nice white roadster in a driveway, in Shelby NC.

Hope this rain stops, I will be on the Dragon Tuesday.

 

That works for me. Too sad that not as many people up here see these awesome cars. And to think we'll have to be putting them away here in a few months. Wish I lived somewhere warm all year.

interesting sight today. had to run an errand at lunch, so i'm getting on to 494 E/B at Bush lake rd, and I see yellow roadster waiting at the light to turn e/b onto 494. never caught up to my white coupe. then at France i look in the rearview mirror and I see a machine gray limited coupe coming up behind me. 3 Crossfire's within a 3 mile stretch. Most I've ever seen outside of a GTG.

 

I was dropping my crossfire off this morning for some warranty work and saw 4 others there with service tags hanging from the rearview. People must be getting them ready for winter already.

Talking about a GTG, what are we thinking guys? I spoke with mdaniels4 about putting one together for the middle of October in Stillwater. maybe go for a cruise that afternoon and meet up somewhere in town that has a patio overlooking the river and have drinks/supper there. Any dates in particular work better than others? Last weekend won't work for sure as that's the fall dragon but any other weekend works for me.

I'll be on vacation from 10/17 until 10/24, out of state, but anytime other than that would be good for me. As Rudy and I discussed, a nive cruise up maybe 61 or 95 would be good in the afternoon, then about 5 maybe drop into a restaurant like the Freight House in Stillwater for drinks and dinner. that's be a nice way to round out the fall before people start putting the cars away for the winter. I'm planning on putting mine up around thanksgiving this year. Mark

 

met a really nice lady in the Apple Valley Petsmart. She was driving a 2004 Machine Gray Ltd. Nice car. this was the same one I saw when it was first brought into Apple Valley Ford on the used lot. Anyway, I introduced myself and talked about the car for about a half hour. I told her about the forum, and maybe she'll be on it. She's really nice. Mark

 

Hi Guys, My wife and I will be in Arizona until the 14th of October - it would be good to get the base black coupe out for a run until the 19th when we both have to go back to work. Stillwater sounds nice - can it be arranged? By the way, I just had my first service done at the Hopkins dealership - I didn't think $130 was too bad - I even get a $10 Target gift card back too.

 

I think I may have seen maybe 2 Crossfires when I lived up there in the south burns of the twiin Cities. Now living down here, I see them everywhere around me.

 

I'm a newbie and I use to live in northwestern Minnesota. I bought my 2004 Crossfire 2 years ago...and NOBODY spotted me? LOL I'm putting her away for winter (naturally). I now live in central Wisconsin and have seen 2 Crossfires in the last few months. People ask me "What kind of car is that?" LOL I love the ooohs and awws!

Hi, I just met a new guy at the Eden Prairie Center parking lot today. His name is Chuck with an '05 coupe, and I told him about the forum. Maybe we'll be getting together again next year. My wife and I are going to the Crossfires Across America get together in St. Louis next June. Anybody else from Minnesota?
