Default CCC - Bishop Castle Run - August 30?

We really need to hit the "Castle" before the snow flies. How about Sunday, August 30?

There is a Caribou Coffee just off of Lincoln and I-25 that may be a good spot. 9 or 10 am work?

Here you go:
12624 Washington Lane
Englewood, CO 80112
(303) 799-1258

It's on the north side of Lincoln. See you at 10!

So are there any other joining in?
So far, it seems to just be Itsky, Bat and her daughter, and myself.

Really had a great time today!!! The castle was amazing and my daughter really enjoyed the spirited driving. Hope you were able to bail out of that traffic jam outside of CoSpr, ugh. We ended up getting stuck again in the Bronco crowd as well once we hit Denver. But it was still a great day. Let us know when you are up for another run.

It was a great day of racing...I mean spirited driving and castle viewing!

How big was the first traffic jam? I got off at Briargate and took hwy 83 all the way back to Parker.

The traffic lasted until the road opened up to three lanes going up that large hill.
There was no actual cause, because once you got to the hill, it went from under 20 mph to 75 again.

Just a bunch of stupid people blocking up the highway for no particular reason at all.

BC.

Sorry I missed your run guys, had a prior commitment. Hope the weather held up for you.

CS to Monument traffic always sucks on the weekends, especially when everyone stops to watch someone shovel dirt on the side of the road. A lot of people don't get it, drive right - pass left - it's the law! I usually end up passing everyone in the slow lane at about 80 going up Monument Hill because the two fast left lanes are all always jammed up. Don't get me started!

Sounds like you had a great time. The spirited driving is what it is all about. I'm sorry we missed it, Mary had surgery on friday and is home now. I've taken the week off to help out but I think we will be out of commission for a couple of months.
