Valky, when you get done shoveling 28" of snow off you roof, we'll talk. At lease it gave santa a good place to land the sleigh even though all he brought this year was a toothbrush and wire crimper. I tell ya, that guy had a close watch on me though... Little blue strip on the brissels was gone Christmas morning and my crimper crimped it's last crimp while wiring up the snowmobile trailer yesterday afternoon.

I've been wondering how you were making out Rudy....and yes, its snowmobile country for sure this year. You and Gary and Rob can keep it up there this year. We have only had a dusting last couple of snows.

I really feel for you guys. When I went home (Munds Park Arizona) on 12/18/09, we had already had 1 snow fall of 22" and another 12" while I was there. That's at least 34" during the month of December. Of course, I spent most of my time in Phoenix, where snowfall was "0".

Good Lord! It was 4 degrees this morning in balmy , southern Indiana. What is it in Lafayette?? Valk's X'Fire may have a strange roommate, but at least it's cozy company on a cold night.

Temp's about the same as yours. About 30 degrees lower than I'd like to move to Southern AZ!

Two feet of snow on my deck. Cleaned the driveway twice with snowblower and seven times with snow shovel. I was hoping for nicer weather this week as I was tempted to take my Crossfire out of the garage for a road trip to Chicago. Scratch that idea. Thanks for the weather forecast and warning.

It's pretty, Gary. But I left 40 years of Michigan winters in 2000 and will not be back.

I have leaves to vacum up tonight.

Don't be a pus pus, drive the thing, it's a decent winter car, heck if I can get by on summer tires I'm sure anyone can get by with a bit of skillful driving too. Plows were slow the other week after the snow and it was so "bad" that I was actually pushing snow out of the way with the front lip.

Right on Kit Fox! I drive mine in the snow as well, and on more than one occasion have plowed snow with the front bumper.

Momentum is your friend in the snow with these cars.

agreed momemtum is the key i drove my last 05 xf all year round til feb 10 2010...........
that day didnt have enough "momentum" to get across a set of 3 tracks(with an incline no less) watched in horror as the burlington express took out my baby at 70 mph
replaced the car,now have 2 sets of tires instead of "all seasons" . ill be running blizzaks next winter.though if hinsdale had cleared the tracks as they should have,it would have never happened
