Guys - the sign-up link is in the orig post, but here it is again:
2010 CEMA Car Show Registration Form
I'm slammed work-wise, but if I'm in town that week-end, I'll definitely be there as a spectator. Won't know for sure until that week.
In the meantime, since I live about 5 mins from the Chrysler Museum, I'm more than happy to set the group up with reservations/suggestions at a local restaurant, bar etc...
Note that the Museum is approx 45 mins north of downtown Detroit.

For those who missed this show, the weather was good, some very interesting cars on display and Gryfan and I think the Dodge Razor (in museum) could be the concept for our car. All in all a very good day. Rapps had both of their cars there (good looking wheels Gary) and afterward we had the opportunity to head over to Greektown and enjoy a light snack. Looking forward to the next GTG....So many pastries....so little time....Gryfan 06/12/2010

what a great show!we talked to lots of old-timers that have a connection almost back to the beginnings of chrysler.lots of cars that i have read about but have never seen.there was a nash healey in attendance from 1953.also a 7/8 scale version of a 1933 cord.it was produced by a rubber company(name i forget) that produced the body panels incorporating rubber.powered by ....wait.... an air cooled corvair engine.the old timer was an engineer with chrysler....his sons are now doing the same.the father of the old guy worked with horace dodge.the museum tour was outstanding.the concept cars were very rare and beautiful. lots of well informed tour guides who knew their stuff.the staff at the show were very friendly.several x-fires in attendance ....great company....and a super time had by all.
harber thanks for putting us on to this show.....it was great.
we then wrapped up the hot humid day with a cool swim back at the hotel.....and then deep dish pizza in greek town in downtown detroit.
this is a great show for chrysler lovers to consider for next year.

Guys - Glad it worked out well and sorry I couldn't make it. I'm helping Chrysler out with these rejected dealer arbitration hearings and have been working days/nights & weekends. Got home from Albuquerque this morning around 1:30 a.m.
The good news is the hearings are over mid July and I'll definitely be at Dream Cruise and Fall Dragon. Also may be able to hook up with Iamfink2 in DC next week after a hearing there.
See you all soon!
p.s. Gary (Rapps) - Why such a happy smile in the pic?
