It looks like this weekend will be in the low 60's, with Saturday less windy. Is there any interest in taking a short drive? We would be willing to meet in Denver maybe go to lunch somewhere.

Want to meet for lunch around 11 am, let it warm up a little and then drive after lunch? BJ's Restaurant and Brewery for pizza or sandwich on I-225 and East Alameda. Its about three blocks south of I-225. They have great pizza! or????

Take C470 west to Wadsworth. Its tricky finding Deer Creek Canyon (look for S. Platte Canyon Rd., take it south about 1/4 mile and then head west on Deer Creek Canyon). Follow Deer Creek Canyon until it ends at Turkey Creek Canyon. Follow Turkey Creek Canyon until it ends--time to head back. Turkey Creek Canyon has houses and driveways, so be careful!

Do we want to meet for lunch maybe on the south side of town instead of Aurora?

 

We can meet at the Cheesecake Factory at the mall. I was just trying to get some of my favorite pizza. No big deal, it just gives me another excuse to drive to Denver at a later time.

 

We can certainly go for the pizza if you prefer. It will give the day a chance to warm up a little bit more!
