The 19th won't work for us as our sons wedding shower is that day. Keep us up to date on any other GTG's in the future. Thats if us Illinoisians are invited .

So, that Saturday I was going to try and meet up with the SRT club in the Castleton area....but, instead, we could invite them and try to have a larger meet...anywhere in IN is fine with me....the farther the earlier though...lol What does everyone think?

That would be the 19th.....
The Indiana SRT meet is this saturday the 12th at Buffalo Wild Wings in Castleton. Some of the guys that come are former SRT owners so we are cool with non SRTs showing up and hanging out. We stick around and watch UFC after the meet but you have to be 21 to get into that BWW since it is a smoking establishment. If we get a Crossfire GTG for the next weekend, count me in.

But, hey how about a joint Ind/IL venture.
The GTG we thought went very well, despite the rain.
Just let us know when and where to meet and we'll try to be there.

where are you from cause i have yet to see another crossfire while driving my own in my area. it seems like when im in my crossfire looking for other crossfires everyone runs away lol. i remember a few weeks back i drove the crossfire around and went home a grabbed the miata and as soon as i pulled out of the driveway a black coupe went past me lol. guess other crossfires don't like me.

Gary, I think they did a good job and the color match is great, but it is not my cup of tea. I have chosen to go the route of no emblems, signs, etc. I think the lines of the car speak louder than anything I could add to it.....

Actually I put it on myself.
Very easy and can be removed easily.

Cody-
I like your work very much, that's the great thing about different people and different ideas. Looks great on your car too.
Wouldn't look good on Doc's car since he's an "old guy"

I would by happy to host and put something together for a fun afternoon, if anyone is serious about coming.

I think a small GTG is usually best for this type of last minute thing, but the more the merrier.

Comments and suggestions welcome.

(Don't tell anyone, but I am working on trying to put together a GTG next year where we Indiana people will get a chance to go around the 500 track )

That would make some good pictures John. I took the tour and the bus ride around the track with about 25 members of my family this year before the 500 race, it was a good afternoon. Good Luck with that I would attend if at all humanly possible. I also would go to whatever you are setting up now if I'm off work or home.

That is kind of where all of us are, and I would be wanting to do it over a weekend, but it certainly seems those are taken for at least several more weeks, got to check in with the boss and look at the calendar.

I think until I set a date and roll with it, there will be no interest.

Weekend or weekdays don't matter to much to me as my work schedule varies from week to week. It would just happen to be a day I'm off, if I can go great otherwise sorry.

damn Johnny, we need to talk...as I am doing the same thing...lol....but for a much larger get together in 2012....I will see who you are talking to....my connections are through Chevrolet...GM dealers to be exact. They took a group of Camaros down this year...but, it is the same contact person who does them all....this wasn't at a racing event...it was during an Chevy event....I am working on a XF event...

Mine is very early in development stages, but being around Indy for 25+ years and being a car freak has made me some connections as well. Like I said, we need to get together anyway.

We are trying to do a GTG the weekend of Oct 9th. Maybe we could meet up somewhere between here and Indy. Trying to find an interesting road to take, a good place to eat, and make it all work with one day of driving. There are 4 of us that can make it that weekend so far...any ideas?

Terry
