Just wanted to hear what you guys think of the new rims. They are Ruff Racing rims 18 front/19 back wrapped in Falken 452 summer tires.

 

Looks like they could handle larger skins....like nice though....they all look nice on white....

 

I really like the stock rims, I prefer them, in fact.


However, with a WHITE car, your rims DO look good. I'd never put them on my car, but on yours they "work".

 

Yeah I like the stock rims as well and I'm going to use them in the winter since it has all season tires on them but there is always room for improvement. Everyone has said it looks great.

 

The rims look great but....................would probably get rid of the letters on the windsheild. Just my .02

Whats wrong with the letters? Well you either love it or hate it. I have had people tell me the car is butt ugly completely stock but I think they where just jealous lol.

 

Those wheels look good on that car cause its an Aston Martin but on a car like ours it would look like crap. That's just my opinion.

 

Wheels look great, Letters are fine, many like that. I always do, what i like with my car, do not want to please the masses and look like every other xfire out there . Only a select few, can appreciate something that maybe is not the norm. Keep it up and do what you like with your car, that"s what makes modding your car interesting and fun. Thank you. I was never gonna mod the car but after seeing about 3 white xfires around my area and all these people claimed to see me in these areas i was never in i decided i was gonna do something different. i started with the decals on the window then decided that wasn't good enough. So i got the rims. Now that i'm getting all this attention with my car i don't think i can stop modding it. im not gonna ricer it up though. no body kits...... i might possibly do side skirts in the future but thats a slim maybe. Next upgrades are magnaflow cat back with high flow magnaflow cats and a better suspension. i do autocross this car and it does good but a better suspension would back a world of difference.

 

JMO wheels look good, windshield not so good...

 

Rims look okay I guess. I'm with the majority on the windshield lettering though. As I've said here before, the important thing is that you like it. Heck, it ain't my money!

thanks steve & jill it means a lot to me. i tried to go for a more racing look and i thought a black and white combo would be perfect with a hint of chrome to set it off. all chrome would of been overkill in my opinion and wouldn't set off the white body too much. thanks again for your kindness

 

I agree they work on a white one. Nothing wrong with making it "yours"!

 

What tires will you be running for the winter?

 

I have brand new all season tires on my stock rims so thats what i will be running. they are general exclaim uhp. General Tire - Off-Road and Performance Tires - The Tires - Performance

 

I like what you have done , Having the white car you can not go wrong with black rims , I had look for 4 yrs for a diff, set of rims to put on mine , Modding is alot fun and it make yours ,
