I will be there for sure in the morning.We have a wedding to go to around 3 so i might just make the cruise to lake geneva and skip lunch and head home.Have to see how things shake out.Will see everyone in island lake for sure

 

Count me in for the tour, but I have family gathering at daughter's so I can't go to Lake Geneva.

OK ... so far I see 11 coming, with 3 maybes (according to post #10)! That's fine, but I'd like to make a reservation at Popeyes for us. Either PM me, or post up, if you're coming with a co-pilot, so I have a head count. Let me know ASAP. at least by Thursday! This will be somethin you won't want to miss ..... and a caravan and great lunch also! See yas!!!!

Steve .... if you're talkin about after lunch, I'm guessing lunch at about 12 noon, and people could leave after lunch, or decide to cruise somewhere else. Then again, maybe some can only do the tour or just meet for lunch. As far as I know, nothing definite set for after lunch.....

Ok, Jill informed me today, that we'll be at the Air Show next weekend. So we will not be able to make it. Have fun, I'll be thinking of you guys while laying on the beach burning.

 

I will meet up at the body shop but as far as Lake Geneva I will have to go next time I have too much stuff going on right now, but I'll see everyone bright and early.

 

I called Popeyes in Lake Geneva, and they don't take reservations, but they did put us on a "preferred Group Status"! What that means is that as soon as everybody in our "group" is there, we'll get the first available. She put us down for 10 people, arriving around 12 noon to partake of the "bar" area, and food at 1PM! I also asked about any off street parking, for our "babies" and she said they have a small parking area behind for about 15 cars, but it's 1st come 1st served. She said because we have "special" cars, she will have the person that takes care of the parking area call me, to see if there would be anything he could do to accomodate us ..which means he may ask for some $$! I'll see if that's the case, but it would be worth $5 (just picked an amount) each to not have to park on the street...Otherwise, parking will be on the streets, so bring quarters, just in case.

 

Sorry not gonna make it...have to many logistics to take care of for b-day party for the wife.

OMG ..... I just got back from Custom Classics this AM to drop off my xFire for them to complete some work on it. It will be ready for me to p/u in the AM. BUT .... what they have in progress there, I'm sure will blow your socks off ..... Their shop is full with various projects of customizations on some already great cars. They've been given unlimited $$ OKs to do work that you only see in "dream" books.
When you arrive, there is parking along side of the building, and some in back. My suggestion is gather outside along the side of the building, and WAIT to go in till we all arrive. Entering the building thru the front door, you will see the most incredible Oldsmobile 442 that has been fully customized, and valued at $550,000 if you can believe that.
Make sure you bring cameras, and your 2 way handheld radios, so we can stay in contact up to Lake Geneva. If you don't have a radio, Gary sometimes brings about 4 of them. How bout it Gary?

Popeyes can't accomodate us for any special parking arrangement, so we will have to find street parking, which might be difficult because there is also an Arts and Crafts Fair going on at lakeside. Sigh!!!! Popeyes' opens at 11AM, and if we get there early enuff there may be some parking in back, but only on 1st come 1st served.
