Just a few miles south of Boston. Haven't seen any other Crossfires locally in a while, even though there are apparently quite a few. Cross+Fire+06 you driving yours this winter?

If i had the option of babying it all winter and driving another car i would.. but this is my primary car..
CROSSFIRE 06 i drive mine all winter too. I can never understand why people buy an expensive car and not drive it. If you own a horse it must be ridden. Yhe idea that it holds value longer....with the price incentives doesn't hold water. I make sure I spend the extra $2 and get the super car wash. This isn't harley weather but I put a few miles on the Harley on the couple warm days last week...when the pavement is cold and not reflecting heat 40's are cold.
Because they can...You just buy two new cars and drive the one that is better in the snow and let the other one try our for classic car status and remain fresh for the other 9 months of the year...My SRT6 is beaten plenty hard enough during the good weather.
As Crossfire 06 points out, the salt will thrash the undercarriage here in the NE in spite of the $2 super car wash...Why prematurely age and deteriorate the car if you don't have to, unless of course you plan on trading the car at some point for the next pretty face that comes along. Ask my 96 Impala SS purchased new and driven 365 days in NE for its entire life. Not looking forward to the pain when it comes time to perform the restoration, inspite of all my $2 super car washes all winter long.

Maybe you should get shorter skis or take up snow boarding instead...then you could take a friend...
Tire rack for the four snows? The way you describe how your car goes in the snow, you must have bought the Blizzaks.... What kind of wheels did you get with the snow tires? I'm going to pick up another set for mine as well, mostly for running at the track. Thinking of a set off of a std crossfire, as the SRT6 wheels look like wagon wheels to me anyway....and also (don't tell anyone) I'm trying to preserve the factory wheels from any further abuse.

I bought winter rims and snow tires.. i have had NO issues this winter and it has snowed several times. I commute from metrowest into boston... on the pike.. and i have traveled to North Conway NH for sking and it makes it up to the ski house no problem.. the only problem i have found is it ONLY fits my skis.. and i am 5 ' 3". so i go alone... lol..

Parawxman...Car owers are like lawyers....u get 10 together and get 14 opinions. I am utilitarian...maintain and use. Fortunately this area of Connecticut has a low sodium road diet. Others buy and garage...my neighbor has a mid-level Mustang....he cries over his milage...4000 miles in only 7 months. I guess both of us are right...and it's up to the person that makes the payments to decide. Anyhow......GO PATS. Got a pic of the '96 SS?
CROSS+FIRE+06....make sure he knows what he's doing before he modifies. Remember the talking is the eazy part and a Crossfire isn't a 1960 Rambler.
