Just started here today...February 28th
I've been trying to register here at the Crossfire Forum for about two weeks. Thanks to the efforts of Crossfirefun and Andrew, I finally made it!
I just purchased a 2005 Yellow Roadster #51471, 6-speed, with only 6K on the clock, from Imperial Chrysler in Mendon MA. It was fate as far as getting the yellow roadster. I was originally going to try out a white '04 coupe so I called the owner of the dealership (a friend) and asked him if I could take it for a test drive. He told me to take for the day, a weekend, or a week and really get to know the car.
Just for the heck of it, I asked him if the white coupe was the only Crossfire he had in stock. He told me he had a black coupe but it had been sold, but he would probaly get a few more in over time. He then told me to hold on for a moment because there were two car carriers pulling into the yard as we were speaking. He then told me he could see a yellow convertible on one of the trucks. I told him, "Say no more!", I'll be up to pick it up for a test drive. I drove up to his dealership and picked up the yellow roadster and didn't bring it back for ten days, and then only to prep it for sale and to put my plates on it.
Ironically I was hoping to find a yellow roadster but I never told him that. My second choice was red, then black. I really didn't want a white one because my Hemi Quadcab is white and I wanted a different color. Yes sir, I got a different color! Needless to say, I love it! This is the second yellow car I've ever owned.

I don't know if I can post pictures yet but here's an attempt to show you the first yellow car I ever owned.

Wow a 10 day test drive is unheard of.
Glad you got the one you wanted!
Enjoy, Gary

Purchased my 05 roadster ( red ) at Imperial in Mendon, also
I got it in Feb 06
Got them to come down 8k off the asking price.
It was owned by a lady in Mendon and had 9k on the car
The original bill of sale was in the car $42,820

Welcome, yellow is a great color on these. Mine's black, cool color but a pain in the ***. I would trade for yellow in a heartbeat.
There's a post from the past! My poor Crossfire has been sitting most of the time. My new job has kept me extremely busy and unfortunately the weather has not been conducive to top-down cruising. We purchased a new boat this spring and that has taken up most of my free time. I do believe we have worked most of the "bugs" out of the new boat and we are ready to start enjoying it this summer if the weather will only cooperate.
I managed to put 5000 miles on my Crossfire last year. So far in 2009, I've only put around 700 miles. I took it to a function in Middleboro last week. I had the top down both ways. It reminded me how much I miss driving it. Maybe I can remedy that situation on some week nights if we ever get some nice evenings without rain.

Hi Phil, ...Good to hear from you! I'm hoping our paths will cross some day. My summer is pretty well booked right now, but maybe later this fall I'll catch up with you and the gang.
We've added another car to the fleet last week. The bride is now driving a 2009 Ford Edge Limited. We decided to go with the color "redfire", and the 20" chrome wheels. It was a replacement for the 06 Envoy. We are both working hard and spending it too! I haven't had a red car since my 40TH Anniversary Edition 1995 T-bird. I like having a red car again. It looks good next to the yellow roadster in the driveway.

Sounds like a nice looking car.Red is a great color. You will have to post pics when you get a chance.
It would be nice to hook up with you this fall, keep in touch.
