Car and Bike Show for Fallen Heros, May 3rd
OK guys, I'll start this one too! Any NE members that are willing to attend the TAPS Car Show to benefit families of Veterans. Please chime in on this thread or send me a PM to add you on the list.
Info from Nightrider:On May 3rd between noon and 4 PM Electric Boat Athletic Club Motorcycle and Automobile Clubs will be holding a car and bike show. The prupose of this show is to raise money for TAPS.org. This organization helps families of our Fallen Heroes that were killed in the War on Terror.
There is no admission charge and showing your car is free. We raise money thru food sales, donations and raffles. At the present time Ms Petit North America, Miss New London County, Miss Rose of New England and Miss Windham County have stated they would have their contestants available to pose with vehicles for a donation. We are trying to get a majician for the munchkins. We have a live DJ.
The show will be held at Excalibur Motorsports Exit 87 off I-395 behind Wendy's in Plainfield CT

I am a veteran from the Gulf War era, (part 1). The one that we didn't finish what we should have.
My son is also in the Army National Guard and atending his AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood at this time.
