I have a way to apply them to the vehicle. I do not have a way to print. I do have a shop up here I can get prices from once we decide.

The more I see of the "X" shape, the more I like it! It is a very unique design like I haven't seen before. If this comes to a vote, and I'm sure it will, I think I'll put my X on the "X".

Xfirenorth,

I like the X the best too. I really didn't care for it at first but it really grew on me. I like how we can identify ourselves as members from a distance, so if I see the X on another Crossfire I know they are part of our New England Xfires. Other owners may see the X, know what it represents and take a closer look.

What do you guys think of me putting in small letters "CrossfireForum.com" Somewhere on the finished product? Or if we have a member in New England that wants to create and maintain website I can put that on it instead?

Also this Friday, around 10:00pm, I will attach another Word Doc with all of the seggestions/changes so you can all have a copy to bring to the Cape Next weekend, an so if we have someone who can bring smaples they'll have time to get them done.

PETER I think adding the forum address is an excellent idea. That way people know how to contact us. I vote for X format also.

I wouldn't do it, Peter. If you add anymore things to the logo it will get too busy looking and lose part of its appeal.

Or if we have a member in New England that wants to create and maintain website I can put that on it instead?
I don't feel we need to establish another Crossfire Forum when we have this one that works so well.

I'm sure many members here at the forum try to get the word out to fellow XFire owners who know nothing about us, and may want to join. I guess most of that will happen through word of mouth or Google. It will also happen at car shows when someone asks you about your XFire.

I didn't even see it until I enlarged the picture. Do you think people will be able to read it that small? I don't think people will get that close, and if they do they make think crossfireforum.org manufactures the decal.

If the majority thinks www.crossfireforum.org needs to be on the decal, perhaps we should add a narrow black rectangle along the base of the "X" so the X would look like X. That way there would be sufficent room to put the Internet address and have it readable. If someone didn't want to display that rectangle, they can trim it off with a pair of scissors. Makes sense to me.

The X will work for me. No website though, that is what handout cards are for.

I personally would prefer the New England design or the oval design. They all look good and it comes down to personal preference. Definitely stick with the swadowing around the NEX.

I would say do not put the "Crossfireforum.org" because they are not sponsoring our club or paying for the decals to advertise. Although, we all appreciate having it as a means of communication!

The sillouetts are nice BUT it sure looks a lot like the pont. solstice's logo..especially the topless one..Copyright infringement? Ithink theirs is a registered trade mark...We don't really need the images do we? I think we have a good idea what the machine looks like, thats why we fell in "love" with it!Actually I fell in "like" with it,it's my wifes....My "love is my solstice gxp.....

Hey Reno,...Can you post a pic of the Solstice logo or a link to where we can see what you are refering to? I don't think GM will be hunting us down if the logos are similar. After all, we are not doing this for profit and there will be so few of us.

It is only the style that is similar. The sweeping lines. Infinity also uses the same style of silhouette is their advertising. The silhouettes look good on the "X" decal but they make the New England shaped decal look too busy.

Blackxfire is correct,it's only a similar outline of the car,the emblem itself is totally unique!Keep up the good work crossfire people...I would post a pic or link if I wasn't computer illiterate...Maybe I'll stop by new port grand and show you the solstice logo on my t-shirt...I'll wear it under my x-fire jacket" OF COURSE"!...

A quick question for all the people interested in the logo. What size should it be? We must take into consideration that our rear windows are not huge, and our rear view is somewhat restricted as it is.

I am thinking no bigger than 4x5 and no smaller than 3x4. But you all have good taste, I've seen your galleries and your cars look impecable.
