Default Clambake

Another crazy nightrider idea. How many would be interested in a traditional New England clambake, hot rocks, tarps, seaweed, clams, lobsters corn etc. Ideally have it at night along sea shore if anyone knows any beaches that allow it. Or ending a cruise at some one's home with a large yard and swimming pool that could host it. Everyone bring a couple pounds of crustaeans and their own Lester the lobster and we split the common expenses. Maybe happen late July early August?

Actually it's not a crazy idea, but a good idea! Unfortunately, I spend most of summer vacations and long weekends on the boat on Block Island. The boat is a big expense and the summer months are just too short to sacrifice a weekend to stay home. I cannot commit to anything between the end of June to the weekend after Labor Day. Reservations have been made, and that's our prime boating time.

I "love" the way Red Lobster refers to langostino as langostino lobster...langostino is a crab also sometimes a lrge shrimp....not lobster!!!!! Next hey'll try passing off immitation crab (flavored pollock) as real crab.

Off course in some one wants to toss some crabs in the bake GO FOR IT. Anyone have access to waterfront property?

Bruce, don't think that it's dead but rather in a peaceful sleep. That's it, now travel, in your mind to that peaceful place and imagine all of us crossfire folks on the nice hot beach, sipping pina coladas, watching the surf rise and fall.
That's it......now picture all of us doing this in July. Start making it happen, I'll help.....Ok, I'll think of helping, Allright, I'll help, hate the sound of you wimpering cuz ya can't see the lovely ladies in their BIKINIS!!!!
Seriously, I will help!
Rick

About the only way you do that is if they change to their street clothes, no woman in her right mind would allow YOU to se her naked, then again, you're not in your right mind either. It makes sense to me that 80 year olds would find you attractive.:O
