Nightrider, we think alike. I think that's a great idea. We can have a nice liesurely breakfast in Sturbridge and take off from there to Quabbin, by the time we hit Wachusett, we might be able to find a spot for lunch. Head on back to Sturbridge and sit down and talk.
Your thoughts?

Sounds like a plan to me. Not sure if I want to hit Surbridge twice but we can find a place around Worcester/Webster.

This is ok by me. I wont return to Sturbridge though as that would be going passed my town and then returning for an extra 60 miles. If we meet at Sturbridge McDonalds for 10 a.m. is that early enough for people? I would prefer earlier.

Do you know any nice breakfast places in Sturbridge that anyone looking for more than a McMuffin would like for Breakfast? I think there's a Cracker Barrel in Sturbridge do they serve breakfast?

If you head out from the center going towards Southbridge there is a nice old time diner that serves one hell of a breakfast for not to much money. It is on the same side of the street and before the Dunkin Donuts.
The lot is good size.(cant remember the name but I will ask my brotherinlaw we ate there last month.)

Brucie baby, Worcester ain't no place to go for a fun filled meal. Sorry to lay that on you but have you looked at the crime rate there? Besides, they won't even let us arm ourselves. There are a great many places in Sturbridge to eat and relax. I'm sure there are some other places like Uxbridge or even some in CT. Not too far from Brooklyn, CT. Not that it's a great place either. Then we can go into other areas as well, all within close driving distances. About the only thing that may be cost prohibitive is the darn gas.

The restaurant is called ANNIES. It is on Rte. 131 in Sturbridge. It is between Extra Mart and Shaws. Should we say breakfast at 9 and meet up with those who dont want to eat same place at 10?

There is a restaurant called the old mill in westminster that wouldn't be far from Wachusett mountain.
Kind of expensive but good food,or at least it was when I went there years ago.

I'm not going 395, I'm heading up 44 and then once I hit Brooklyn, taking a right and it's a straight trip all the way to Sturbridge. I'll go to Annie's for 9. C'mon, get up early and make it a fun time, I hear they have some really pretty sheep in the Village!!!!>

O.K. here it is. Meet at Annies, Main street out of Sturbridge heading to Southbridge.(RT.131)
Breakfast at 9 am. for those who want it. Meet and greet at 10 am. for the rest. If everyone meets earlier we will leave when breakfast is complete. Cruise will head out of Sturbridge and up to the Quabbin Dam for pictures. From there we will grab 202 north around the western part of the res. Half way up we can stop again for more pics at the scenic rest stop. From there we will take Rt. 2 to Watchusett Mt.
After that is anyones guess. There are numerous restaurants off of Rt.2 if you head east to pick up 190 south to the Ma. Pike. Might be a stop halfway down Rt. 2 if we detour to my house and pics in my cul-de-sac. Send me a pm if you want my cell number.
How does that sound?
Who's in?
What time do you plan to meet?
Thanks all.

I'm going to have to bail on this one, too. Hope you all get great weather and empty roads!

If it is only the three of us maybe a detour to Bubbas will be in order.

Haven't heard from them yet. Maybe we will have to pick another second location, Wachusett is 50 miles from bubba's and only half hour or so from Quabbin.
We have to know soon if I need to trade the chevette and buy a crossfire.
