9 am at Annie's in Sturbrdge Mass (rte 131 see directions a few posts ago)

How's this?

http://www.tripadvisor.com/LocalMaps...chen-Area.html

140 Main St, Sturbridge, MA 01566
It is right on the main road out of Sturbridge heading towards Southbridge. If you get to the Dunkin Donuts you went to far. Look for the crossfires that will be parked there.

Robby and I will be heading up 495 North around 7:15 to get to Sturbridge. Anyone want to meet up with us along 495?

Who is bringing Walkie-Talkies?

Night is correct. Breakfast at 9 and kick off will be at 10 or when everyone is together and ready. Trip to quabbin should be 1/2 hr. or so with time there taking pics etc. to be determined. There are 3 major areas with some walking involved.
Posible side trip to Amherst and the rest will be determined as we go.

This is getting close, I need to ditch the chevette and go buy a crossfire quick.

Hey fun,
I think you should get a nice blue roadster. I think one would look real nice in your driveway! Ya, one of those ultra exclusive Crossfires I have seen around the area! They must be really expensive though! LOL

I will not be at the cruise this weekend. Unfortunately I will be at the funeral of Marine Cpl Cotner that lost his life fighting for us all...all no matter what your views are...in Anwar Iraq.

As many of you know I am a member of Patriot Guard Riders (a group of motorcyclists that provide honor and respect to our fallen Heros and their families at their funerals ( patriotguard.org) Unfortunately a group that sees military funerals as a stage for their cause of hate and bigotry will be there this weekend. see attachment. I was looking forward to this run for months as u all well know. Somethings happen while you make other plans.

You do what you have to do! Thank you for supporting the familys.
Please give the family my thoughts and prayers. Also thank them for the service that this soldier gave to the country.
If you can make one of the protesters day a little more miserable you have my blessing

Thanks for understanding Casper. I was going on the run until I got that letter sent to Senator Lieberman's Office and our law enforcement escort forwarded to me. I maybe a liberal but I am 100% behind those that have to fight for our nation's goals. I believe in Freedom of Speech yet a funeral especially a military funeral is no place for that. We basically keep them separated from the family in NON-VIOLENT and LEGAL means so that the family of our Fallen Hero needs not suffer any more. First thing those slime bags do is set up cameras then try to provoke some one into doing something stupid (the 2 "ministers" are disbarred lawyers) we do have strict rules of conduct that in 4 years have never been one incident. We have recognition and commendations from generals governors senators etc and have been invited to thousands of funerals. Most go smoothe and the slime doesn't show. They may scream their message of hate but with over a 1000 bikes not many can hear it. Our website is www.patriotguard.org if anyone is interested. You do not need a bike only respect for our heroes and their families.

I do wish the NEX run was on a different day but guess thats fate. Hug Jen for me and keep Crossfire Tail away from the farm animals. Weather is supposed to be great. I'm up for a car show Goddard St Park RI in August or Middletown CT in October both have over 1200 cars...hint

I went looking today and have a few questions.
What's a sprint booster?Do I need to boost my sprint?
If I run a cold air intake will I need to wear a sweater?
Does SRT stand for silly retarted Tantrums?
Are there any upgades for these cars and what will it cost?

Night:
August is out for me but maybe I will make the next one. We will have to start a new thread. I think a fall tour out west to the berkshires is in order. Columbus day weekend maybe. I did it once and it was a success.

Casper,
I think we all will be looking fwd to an end of season run Maybe Quabbin and Berkshires the weekend after Columbus Day usually has the best leaves...to early to finalize. Crossfire Tail would love a last chance to visit the mountain farms.

Catch u on the flip-flop.

Ya, But I learned your secret and will wear a kilt. Sheep & goats can hear zippers a mile away.

How do Solstice owners practice safe sex? They put an X on the sheep that kick.

Damn, nightrider, I told you not to tell anyone about that kilt you gave me. Please, Please, don't post the pictures that you took!!! If you do that I promise I won't show the ones I took with you and Molly the ugly goat.......All kidding aside, good luck tomorrow and we will miss you. You are one of the people that makes this all worthwhile. If I may reiterate something I said a few months ago. This is a great group of people. I can only hope that we will all do another run as successful as the Newport run, without the tickets, this time. At the end of the season, I'd love to do a trip up north as a final run for the year. The Fall Run to Maine. Let's do a roll call to see who might be interested. Of course gas could be a major issue at that time.

I wish I could join you but I need to finalize some things on the boat before it goes in on Monday. This is the latest I ever launched it. So far I really haven't missed any great boating weather. Hopefully, the weather will start to turn to summer real soon. They're predicting temps in the 90's for this weekend. It was 56 degrees when I got up this morning so it will have to climb 34 degrees to make their prediction.

Have fun on the Quabbin Cruise! You should have great weather for it.

Bob

Hey Bob:
We had a great time. Weather was perfect and the roads were fairly quiet. It was hot walking the grounds but the ginormous pizza we all shared at the end made it worth it. We should have pizza pics on line soon.
It was great meeting members of NEX and I hope to meet all the rest in the future. I will be posting my pics now and later on tonight.

I am so sorry, I know this sounds kinds wierd but I had to help my mom. I am 39. She lives a couple towns away (Marlboro) and she has 6 birds (it's a lot of birds) she called me the night before all upset! I needed to help her bring them to the Vet. Bummer. They are OK she thought there was somthing really wrong but everything turned out OK with them. Eitherway I missed out, sorry to have not made it? I thought about shooting up in area later in the day but I missed it.
