Cruise to the Budweiser Brewery in NH ??
Hi all,
We have 4 votes for June 6th, so far.
In a week or so I'll contact them and see if they can do anything special for our group. Need to kinda get a semi-confirmed head count.
Does anyone else want to comment?
Anyone have any ideas for breakfast before or lunch after the tour?
Stan

bump bump plus one more for the ride if I am not counted yet.
We could meet for breakfast up my way. Not sure how it would effect start times though.

As for that other thing that I mentioned before. The cruise or ride for Ben Carpenter who died at the young age of 43.
The ride will happen on Sunday July 12th, 2009The $25.00 donation includes a dinner withe some great friends and a custom pin. I will post the flyer to my gallery in hopes that it doesn't get knocked off.
Please contact me for ticket info and I will get them for you. Seating is limited, Ben was well loved so a lot of people are going to join this ride.
Didn't mean to hijack this post and I will put it in the proper place.

On another note, how come I have to log in everytime I go on here? Used to be I just clicked, it knew me and I went to look for our threads. I guess we have to pay now, not only look at ads but signing in as well. Makes we wonder what happened to this site, as I understand it, a dot org site is free.
Just my own thoughts, if the internet thread police decide to strike this then, I guess I'll never find out.

Thanks Rob
Are you going to do the cruise for my buddy on July 12th?
It's a good cause.

HI all.
I am thinking we can go up to the brewery in the AM. lunch after tour and return to MA via the Nashoba Valley winery in Berlin, MA. Nice small winery tour with their own produced wines. The tour cost a little bit. Nice place to go apple picking in the fall as well.
I think we will do the opposite, the Clydesdale picture day tours are from 1pm to 3pm. I'll post more info about Nashoba in this thread. http://www.nashobawinery.com

Another place in N H is Kimball Farm in Jaffrey. Ice Cream 10 am to 10 pm Resturant 11 am to 10 pm
Might be better in the Morning than a winery.
Any thoughts
Its about 35 miles from there to Merrimac

I was thinking that we all could meet at the Wrentham mall at a pre-determined time. Those of us that can get there easily. Any comments on that? Or other ideas would be welcome. What say you Stan?

Howdy NEX!!
OK. What is this DAMSRT6 guy talking about? If I recall, you were the one leading and who moved over so the trooper could rardar me instead of you. You shouldn't have stopped to wait for us, I can't believe the tropper gave you a ticket also! There is no way he had you. Moving on!
So here is who I have so far, please update the thread with your status if I placed a question mark beside it.

As far as winery or farm in the AM, it is up to the group to decide.
Nashoba Winery is a nice place, short tour (about $5) of how they make their wines and I think they still give souvenier wine glasses. It is pretty interesting and I thought some of us that enjoy wine from time to time would like to pick up some unique wines while we are there. The first tour isn't until 11AM so we can still meet for breakfast somewhere along the way.
The last tour at the Bud Brewery is at 4PM. Check out the URLs earlier within this thread for both stops.
I don't know about the farm in NH, I would have to defer to Retired3303 for his take on the food there. The website didn't seem to say too much to me. So everyone chime in with your choice.
I will also bring the NEX decals if anyone want to purchase one for $4. See the NEX decal thread for the choices I have left. Seems averyone who purchased one is happy with them.
Rick, yes Wrentham is fine once we nail down a time and finalize plans.
