I am trying desperately to get this running. I am new at this Facebook stuff, so be patient, it is a work in progress.
Anyone who signed on as a friend of Stan Grant may want to go in and sign on under the NEX page.

The page is titled New England Xfires.
I have loaded an event. Someone let me know if you get directly to the page.

Putting "New England Xfires" into the search bar took me right to it!

I can see two photo albums and the front page, etc. Looks like you got it... sending a fan and friend request.

EDIT: I guess you can be a "Fan" but not a "Friend" of a group!?!

 

If you log into Facebook and enter "New" into the box then New England XFires shows in the pull-down menu right away.
It looks like you can be a friend to a person and only a fan of an organization/page.
So if you want to keep quick access to the NEX page please make yourself a fan of the page.

I'm just learning the Facebook routine. Many of my friends, former co-workers, and classmates are members. I'll try the NE Xfires sire. Watch for me there if I can accomplish the mission.
