Ello folks,
Just wanting to "grease the rails" as we use to say in the military, and let you all know how jazzed I am to be moving back to my native NH this summer! Currently, my wife Charli and I, are members of Gateway Crossfire Group St Louis area, and have had the honor of meeting with many fine members out this way. Unfortunately, St Louis is about 2 plus hours from where we live so we dont hook up as much as we'd like to.

Im selling my home this summer but not until after the CAA GTG in June, as living so close now to this once in a lifetime GTG is paramount to me.

Got to admit I'm a bit concerned right now bros, no job lined up and not sure where to move to. However I do have a small slathering of family out in the Portsmouth/Rochester NH area to assist with the relocation. Besides, we're Christians and have faith that God will open the right dooors when the time comes. All I know is that since leaving yankee soil in 1989, its way past my time to get back to where I truely belong.

Anyways, thanks for reading... Im looking forward to meeting you.

Curtis

BTW..who's coming to the CAA this June?

Hey Curtis,
We need more crossfires back here on the east coast. Especially RED ones. Hope we can meet you at Carlise in July or Wildwood, NJ first weekend of October. My wife and I are coming out to CAA. We are from Pa. Ron

A Christian in NH. You are going to need your faith.

One of the prettiest places on earth and I would live there myself, just for the real Maple Syrup and the honest, hard working neighbors. I simply cannot figure out how to make a living there sitting in "my warm arm chair" like I do here in Wentzville MO.

Clear water, clean air, trees and mountains

No offense to our friends in the KC flatlands, but there simply is no comparison.

We hope it works out well for you.

Franc & Cathy

Thanks everyone.

Seems I wont be making it to CCA, in fact our plans are so excellerated (God) that we will be listing our home 15 March, 2 weeks! Thats perfect time too to get spring break buyers. Charli and I have been busy painting every room in the house and othere fix up chores. Our realitor is a dynamic Christian lady (God again) who is so on top of her game she should be on HGTV.

Now that we are almost out of here and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting so bright; and things just seem to keep falling into place. I does make me sad though to see my XF with all her mods over the last 4 months, just sitting in the garage surrounded by paint cans, boxes and EVERYTHING else. Dont even think I'll be able to hit one show out this way before moving.

N ee ways thanks for listening

Bump....
Hey all, We've successfully made it out here a few months ago. I came out first to do job recon and it looked grim for a while. Im a retired USAF cop with an AS degree and couldnt even get a job washing dishes! But just when I was about fed up I got a job at an autobody shop doing detailing and they are now teaching me (at 50 yoa) how to do light body repairs! I love my job.

So my wife secretely drove 26 hours non stop to surprise me, we had been 2 months apart. WOW, and that same afternoon our house in MO sold!

We found a super renovated 50's cape in Somersworth NH. I finally got my rims and subs installed. The guys at work are real flaming parts of my XF for free and Im jazzed about shows and get togethers next year.

I look forward to meeting you all. If anyone is headed up this way PM me if youd like to meet the family etc or need a place to stop for a while

Curtis....call me Pooly

Sounds good Pooly. You are not too far from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard...I understand that they are hiring, at least the contractors are.

Hope you have a second car for the snow,,,,Crossfires tend to be sleds in winter.

Welcome to New England and I'm usually in the Portsmouth-Prtland area in warm weather.
