Welcome aboard! Wife and I picked up a 92 vette a little while back. Xfire is still my baby.. but the vette is kinda nice for a change to "raw" horsepower..LOL.

Almost like "brute strength" vrs "Ninja stealth and quickness"..

Unhappy HELP, new crossfire owner, not happy!

I only did this as a reply because I can't figure out how to post a new thread! Very computer challenged. She found this site and is trying to do everything I can (I am a Mazda mechanic).

2005 Chrysler Crossfire – technical Chrysler Nofire (6 speed, 6 cyl)

My wife has driven it a total of 6 times, she's to the point of tears right now. Here's what I got:
Was working fine, bought it, drove several times, one morning, won’t start.
Cracks, fires, stalls. Did this three times. After three times, it will not crank again until battery is disconnected, then it repeats the problem. With foot on throttle, cranks, revs, stalls, cranks, revs, stalls, then no cranks. Disconnect battery, 3-5 minutes, problem repeats. When it does fire, it fires for 3 seconds.

Checked:
o key fob,
o battery
o RCM,
o changed cranked position sensor.
o No set codes.
o Only thing OBD said was ‘open circuit in fuel pressure regulator’.
o Security light is not on in dash
o no security errors showing in dash
o have fuel pressure
o all fuses in car are good
o everything else (electrc/power) functions properly.
o Car does communicate with OBD II tester I
o Checked all wiring harnesses, including mouse destruction.
o Giggled all connectors
o unplugged mass flow sensor
o checked cam sensor, SLIGHTLY changed how it fired.

My wife is ready to send it off a cliff. Please help!

Welcome aboard Terry! Enjoy the ride and permagrin.

Mags, I replied to your other introduction thread with a possible issue with your car.
