New Owner
Hello everyone, my name if Francisco and I just bought a 2004 Crossfire Base Coupe, Blaze Red Crystal Pearlcoat. I have only had it for a day, but I love it already. This is my first car that I bought that has less then 100k miles and I want to keep this car in great condition.
I love to drive and drive on those winding road like Highway 1 and from what I can tell this car is going to be perfect for it. I am a do-it-yourself kind of guy and will probably be doing my own maintenance and obliviously doing my own work, when my warranty ends. I joined this forum to help get to know my car, advice on how to fix it and mods, and get to know some other Crossfire owners.
Hope you all have a great ride!

Let me be the first to welcome you, have fun with the Crossfire, great little cars. A word of warning though, even though you have warranty please use the search tab to research any issues you may have. You will soon learn that little is known about these cars especially at the Dealership level. So good idea to look on here before you take it in for work.
Happy Motoring.

Welcome and, ^^^ WHAT HE SAID ^^^ !
Taking these cars to a Chrysler dealer is a big mistake. I found a local small-business-type shop that knows Mercedes and that works out well.
Always remember: Your car was built in German using a Chrysler-designed body, Karman Labor and a Mercedes engine-drive train-chassis.
It is not a Chrysler product.

Thanks a lot and I will keep that in mind when I start having issue with the car. I have already started to look through the forum for issues and what I might expect and what I can mod. I generally do a lot of research when I have a problem and forum have been an invaluable resource for me over the years. That is how I kept my Honda running for so long.
Thank again for the info.

Looks like a pretty easy fix. I wonder why it is such a problem, but when I test drove the car, I had a little issue with it. That write up in the forums is really detailed!
