Default Picked up an SRT 6 yesterday

Hello from southern Oregon.

I purchased an '05 SRT 6 yesterday. She has 57k miles on her. Interesting fact is she wasn't sold as a new vehicle until Nov 2007!

A few of quick questions:

1, I have purchased shop manuals but haven't recieved them yet. Where are the cabin filters at?
2. Does anyone know what kind of wheels these are?
3. Where can I purchase SRT, Crossfire, AMG or ? wheel caps?

I drove early SRT 6s back in '04 and '05 at track events and always liked them except for the tranny. She will have a good home as she joins several SRT 10s and an SRT 8 here,

1. Passenger side footwell up behind the glove box. 2 phillips head screws to remove the access panel, then plastic slidey things to remove the filter cover.
2. not a clue
3. send a pm to andrew ( that's the account name ) here and he has all sorts of wheel emblems etc.

be prepared to also replace the IC pump ......

welcome and congrats on the new ride!

the service manual pdf is here on the forum
the cabin filter is in the passenger footwell, just past the glovebox
the crossfire wheel caps are proprietary to the rims. we can probably get a MB start center cap on those rims though, let me know what size the bore is and I can measure a mb cap here.

Congrats on the purchase. The wheel centre caps look like TSW but the wheels aren't in their current listed offerings. Enjoy.

Welcome, you're really going to have some fun with that sleeper. It just surprises the hell out of people. I get these WTF looks after I light it up. The guys on the forum can tell you how to get more bang out of that engine and better performance on the twistys.

Thanks folks. I am excited but it looks like my girlfriend is starting to assert a claim in driving the car.

The guys in the local Viper club already know what an SRT 6 is and a couple have owned one so no sleeper status among friends.

Welcome to the perma grin club! What part of southern Oregon are you situated in? We have a small but strong chapter for Northwest crossfire owners with some events coming up in the spring. Check us out at Northwest crossfire club on Facebook.

For some reason most of the rest do not post here, though Bloo is a VP in CICCI.

The SRT6 is a pocklet rocketthat will never stopamazing those who end up looking at it's rear bumper.

Nothing like starting at the top of the food chain Cobraken.

welcome.
