Default Hi From Washington DC! WTB: Crossfire :)

Good afternoon! Created an account just so I can see some of the pics of what's currently in the For Sale section. After looking around on Craigslist and various internet sites I thought it prudent to come to where owners congregate .

Have test driven a few, and I'm particularly fond of the Dark Slate Gray and Silver colors. Not sure what Graphite is yet, but I think I'd like that also. Drove an hour to go look at one in northern MD and thinking about driving to go see another in NJ. I've got funds in hand and am looking to buy within the next week or so.

Nice to "meet" you all.

Now I'm headed over to the For Sale section .

Good thinking regarding checking out this site. Be sure to look over the section regarding what to look for when purchasing a XF. I'm trying to find the post but can't find it. Hope some other member will know where to look. Good luck on a purchase. You won't be disappointed with a XF. If you want top of the line performance be sure you buy an SRT6.

Thanks so much Red Runner! I'll look for that thread right now actually.

(Also, just in case anyone wants to PM me, I'm looking for an 04 or 05 [since lower year generally = lower price] coupe model vs a convertible.)

Never realized that different colors drove differently.... actually that's a lie, we all know black is the fastest color

Just kidding, good luck in your search

Saw a red 6-speed for sale in Southern Maryland (Lexington Park) if you are interested.

Welcome (soon) to the Family. Make sure you check the Crossfires of Maryland (COM) threads for updates and info. Where are you located in the DC area? Plenty of Crossfire owners in the metro area.
