Default Colorado SRT-6

Hello from Colorado!

Bought a Graphite SRT-6 roadster from a fella in WV several weeks ago, with 19K. Still getting use to the car and soon will be looking to do some performance upgrades. Also looking for Crossfire events and get togethers.

I have been on the forum before finding this car and want to say it has been a big help! Lots of info and helpful members. Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone.
Congratulation on the buy. This combination works well on mine:

Eurocharged tune
178 crank pulley with pulley saver kit
Needswings DCAI
Supercooler
Intercooler isolator
Ported teflon coated y-pipe

Thanks MiamiTVR, why did you choose the crank pulley or a supercharger pulley?

I did not do the choosing, that was the previous owner. There is research and discussion on the site regarding these options.

I can not speak authoritatively on the subject other than to say it seems to work very well on mine and the logic of the choice made sense to me.

Beautiful! Most that choose a supercharger pulley over the crank pulley is for ease of installation and removal. Literally 15 minutes once you have done it a few times and have the tools you need. Remove fan, remove belt, remove pulley and reverse. The crank pulley requires lots of torque and a special tool to keep the engine from turning while the new new pulley is torqued down. A lift is highly recommended and 2 people. A 3/4" torque wrench that reads over 150 ft lbs and a breaker bar. The 178 crank pulley makes more boost/power than a 65mm supercharger pulley. Can't speak about the other pulleys as I've only had the 65 and 178 on my car.

Thanks velociabstract for the info. My guess is that the crank pulley would also "overdrive" the other accessories. Wouldn't that wear them out?

178 crank pulley with pulley saver kit

I believe there are kits to address that.

The 178 pulley comes with a larger idler pulley and water pump pulley. I have around 20,000 miles on mine with no issues, except bald tires. You will need a tune with the pulley, well, any pulley really.
