New owner N.E. Illinois
Re: New owner N.E. Illinois
Ken,
Sounds like you bought that $6500 limited coupe from Packey Webb Ford - they called to tell me the car was sold, as I test drove it a couple of weeks ago. Congratulations - it was a strong car to drive. Fix that dragging LR brake and RF turn signal bulb yet? I casually offered them a too-low $4500, after I decided I that if I was going to get an impractical car, may as well get a roadster. Hope you are happy - Blaze Red on a sunny day is gorgeous. And you have way fewer miles the 175k on my son's coupe - you have miles of smiles to come.

That,s the one. The rf turn signal was the holder. Just moved the contacts out a little.
Will look at the brakes when the weather breakes.
Haven't decided what way to go with cup holder yet. I do plan on taking to the local body shop to the touch ups done right.
It was the 4th one we looked at Saturday.

Ken,
I'm amazed you found 3 others to see - I've been looking for a manual transmission Crossfire and not had much luck locally.
My son's cupholder was loose, so he just took it out and was using the black hole/pocket as a cubby for his phone, so that seemed to work. But we did get lucky at a Lockport junkyard and found a wrecked roadster with a working cupholder! $20 (and lots of effort) later, we're back to factory functionality. There are posts here on how to tear apart the trim to replace it, and other posts on alternatives that mount elsewhere, but I can't see the point in mounting one behind your elbow or shoulder.

Re: New owner N.E. Illinois
Welcome Kowmander (Brian)
I have added ya alphabetically to the Illinois owners list in post #1
I started to create the list 8 years ago and I'm sure with that amount of time many on the list have sold there Crossfires or maybe have moved but the list remains as it is and I add new Illinois members as I see the requests
I have been a member here for 8-1/2 years
