Buying a Crossfire tom! Excited!!
Hi guys!!! I'm so excited to have found this site!! I have found a sweet 2004 Crossfire, low miles, and I have decided to buy it tom. All the reviews I have read are REALLY good for this car! I drive it today, and I LOVE the get up and go pep it has!! I am looking forward to being a part of this group too! Have you guys had any luck restoring the headlight lens with the kit you can buy? Or am I lookin at purchasing brand new ones? Any feedback would be sinecerely appreciated. Thank you in advance!
New headlight assemblies are something around $350-400 each.
I restored mine with wet sand paper and Mequiar's PLastX. There is a tutorial here on the forum somewhere....

Here is the procedure I more-or-less followed.
I did not get a "Before" photo, but here is an "after". I cant seem to make the commercial kits work, but this procedure (again, did not follow it exactly) worked on my current car and my Graphite car.

Join Sam's Club. They charge $29.99 to restore headlights (hand wet sand, Polish, UV clear coat), 5 year warranty. I've spent a lot more on materials when I did it myself.
Have you looked at the price of these headlights lately? They did better than the market in the last few years.
Yea, I'm seeing $400-$600 used, $600-$800 new. EACH !
