Default greetings all

new member here. not yet an owner but seriously looking to purchase an srt6 roadster in the very near future. figured there was loads to learn (as there is with most limited production vehicles). my namew is steve schwartz, i live in south florida (hence the roadster interest) and have a few other interesting vehicles in the garage; a 2004 commemorative edition C5 corvette convertible, a 2008 cadillac xlr, a 1938 buick series 90l formal limo (a project) and a 1938 ford p/u streetrod (currently under construction). i figure an srt6 is just what i need, LOL. looking forward to gaining a wealth of finformation and insights into the car.

Any picks of the 38 ford?

Not as many, srt roadsters but they are out there.
If you find one in a different area, someone on here might be close and could help you take a look before you drive or fly to get it.
Less chances of a wasted trip.

I say find a ssb

i have some of the in progress pictures of the 38 p/u. send me an email and i'll get the out as soon as i find a bit of time. i agree, that ssb or a red one would be my colors of choice if at all possible. i have a good friend in my area who has been a crossfire guy for a while and has a cpe with a benz engine. supposed;ly only one of a small handful of them. he built iut with some help from a chicago area guy. my buddy is a big local drag strip guy and manages to **** a lot of people off with the car. his wife also races it and really gets under the skin of the BMW guys, etc when she kicks their asses on a consistent basis. lol. i would definitely try to enlist the help of a local member, but thanks for the suggestion.

Technically they all have mb engines
The 55 amg conversion, they are just a few.
Because of the cost of tuning the electronics, getting a donor car is cheap, making it all work is what is insane $$$
I like my 6 speed

I don't believe they made any SRT's in Red. SSB will have to do.
