New poster to Crossfire Forum. Member since 10/14) My name is Joe and I have 3 Crossfires.
Black, manual, 2006 Coupe, purchased new in 2006,
Black, manual, 2007 convertible purchased new in 2007, and
Black, manual, 2007 Coupe, purchased used this month.

My question regards the installation of BMW leather power driver and passenger seats in a 2007 Coupe. Does anyone have either knowledge of or experience with that swap? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jo , sorry I can't help with the seats, bout anything else, maybe.... You must be a descent "wrench" yourself. Most people find this place after about a month of ownership. Just wanted to say ; Welcome to the forum. When you get this project going, start a thread, in the interior's section. Add pics an info as you go along...that's what make this forum, the best Xfire knowledge base out there.

I would say, you have 2 choices :
1. make the bimmer seats fit the crossfire mounting frames, or
2. make the bimmer mounting frames fit the crossfire floor pan mounting holes.

I do not know offhand the dimensions on either, if you already have the BMW seats that should be easy to determine.
You should be able to hack something up to make the electrical work.
( you can get the schematic from the service manual in the below link )

Mystery solved! Today, I purchased a 2007 Crossfire 6-speed Coupe with 27k and realized that the seats were not genuine Crossfire seats. (Base trim Crossfires tend not to come with 8-way power leather seats) I suspected them to be BMW units, so I drove to my local BMW store and they confirmed them as 2005 BMW E46 seats. For anyone contemplating swap, they seem to fit very well. BTW, seats AND tracks are BMW. Thanks for your response.
Will post pics if anyone is interested.

Welcome Joe! I have a Facebook Group for owners of multiple Crossfires.

The name is kind of tongue & cheek.

Search for "Crossfire Hoarders" in Facebook - It isn't letting me post the link here.
