Oil in the radiator expansion tank
Hi,
I've had my 2005 automatic roadster for 9 years and its been a fab car to own and drive. But unfortunately I now have a problem with it and any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
I recently noticed oil droplets (now increased to a layer of oil) in the radiator expansion tank. Can anyone tell me what might be the cause of this?
I've been told it might be the head gasket. Someone else said it might be the oil cooler but someone else said it doesn't have a oil cooler. Also where would be the best place to get oil cooler. (if it exists)
One last question - Where can I find original part numbers other than on the parts themselves?
Any thoughts or comments much appreciated

If the oil level increases via the dip stick , &/or you see water droplets on the dipstick , its an indication the coolant is getting into the engine oil via a bad gasket or cracked head or block . Another indication is a white milky residue in the oil breather or filler cap .
Most antifreeze liquids if mixing w/ the engine oil will remove the lubricity from the oil so not a good idea to drive the car if this is the case .
