Default expansion tank

I have broken the nipple off the top of my tank and epoxy and jb weld won't seal it properly soooo.. I need a new tank and thought I would buy the smaller tank found in the C32, got it home and it is for the driver side so will not fit. Does anyone know where I can find an expansion tank that fits and works? I really don't want to pay $80+ for a plastic tank but just might have to bite the bulley. I am running the seperation lines if that helps, so if anyone has any idea of making the C32 work then greatly appreciated. Ideas or sites welcome. thanks

Did you wash area with acetone first?
Roughen area to give bond a tooth to grab on to.

I did the same thing i broke the nipple off when i was seperating my lines, JB worked for me like woody said clean the area well and give the jb weld time to set and it should work just fine. Ultimately switching to a flow tank that holds about the same amount of collant instead of just an overlflow tank, that will allow me to drop ice in for when im drag racing.

well I have to admit I initially used cold steel puddy that didn't adhere well. I got some REAL jb weld kwik set and it seems to have worked alot better. I put it on this weekend and let it set and no leaks as of yet. I guess it pays to use the good stuff. Thanks for everyones help and suggestions. I will probably go with an aftermarket setup when I get a new intercooler, properly seperating the fluids with there own tank.

While I was fixing things I put the DIY belt wrap kit and dual CAI's on and WOW did it make a difference. I think I am set for awhile until I can afford new I/C and tune.
Cheers

are you running stock pullies? when you did the belt wrap did you have any issues with the tensioner being to tight to wrap the belt?
being from huntsville you should check out the car show in the boro every fri. evening. upwards of 200 cars and 2 months ago 700 showed up. good time and place to show off the car!

For whatever reason my signature didn't show up. I am running Code3 so not stock, had no problems. I was getting some crazy belt slippage before with black soot all over pulleys. I put belt wrap on and realized just how much I was loosing in power. It really feels like a rocket now.

I will definitely have to swing up there for a Friday night, send me a PM on where exactly.

i tried the wrap with the stock setup and it wont work. im guessing the difference in pulley size is what allows the wrap to work. if i can ever find some one with the c3 for sale and actually sticks to the deal ill get 1
