Not sure if I am doing this in the right place but here goes. I am a new member. I recently acquired a 2005 Crossfire Convertible from my parents. They bought it new. It only has 66,000 miles. It has been very well taken care of. I have the records from just about everything my dad had done to the car, from oil changes, tires, new top etc. I have put a new water pump and alternator on it since I got it. I am sure I will have a lot of questions about it so I am looking forward to seeing what all is on this forum. I actually noticed a little transmission fluid on the garage floor today so I have to get that checked out. Is the dealer the best place to get everything done? Anyone on here from the middle Tennessee area? Merry Christmas everyone.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Crossfire owners. We were new owners this past spring. The cars are fabulous and you will get all the right advice from experienced concerned owners and you will save a ton of money and anguish. Most will tell you to stay away from the Dealerships which are often referred to here as Stealerships. Dealers don't support this car much and they are pretty easy to look after by yourself. Welcome and Merry Christmas. My wife and I have learned and saved a lot on this forum. PS Nice Ride!

Welcome to the forum here
There is more info here regarding the Crossfire than anywhere else on the Internet
Chrysler dealers are not the place to take your Crossfire as most of the dealerships don't have the knowledge to repair these cars so long after production
Your best choice is to locate a reputable shop that specializes in European cars
Your more likely to get the service needed there
Also research any problem you might have by using the "search" tool here
Almost any issue you may have has been discussed in the past
Happy holidays and welcome to the Crossfire community
a "little" transmission on the floor is most likely a leaking electrical connector.
$12 part and about an hour of DIY.
There are numerous videos on YouTube about changing this 722.6 transmission connector.
