Hi all, I am new to the forum and am picking up my 54 plate crossfire on Sunday, its my uncles and he has had it from new, always garaged with 35,000 on the clock.

Congratulations on getting the Crossfire. You will find most anything you need to know about it here on the forum. There is also a lot of friendly members willing to answer questions.

I think it relates to the year that the car was first registered in and not the model year.
I knew it was a new UK member when he used the word ‘bloke’. Welcome to you me old china.

I am an American, and I get all my information from movies and TV, I never read books and believe everything on TV, including commercials - that Australian actor used the descriptor "bloke" - so I assumed this guy was Australian.

I used the word bloke and the car age identifier and deduced that the OP was from the UK as am I.
