Hi all, I’m George, I recently purchased a black coupe, manual, it is the standard version with cloth seats. 2005, one of the reasons I bought it was the low mileage, it has only
covered 16000 miles, about a thousand miles a year.I have never driven one , and I have only seen pictures of the one I bought. I am desperate to get hold of it, but because of the lock down l am unable to collect it. The car is in Luton and I am in central Scotland. I have had various quotes for delivery but they are very expensive, so I will have to wait till Nicola lets us out to play again. I am an engineer for Loganair and have a couple of Bond Bugs in my collection, also have a the usual couple of projects lying around.
Over here we call that a "Base Model". With those miles, that clutch should feel like new!
It's funny you are not able to go get it, I am leaving on a road trip tomorrow to another USA state that will be a longer drive than what you'd have to get that car.
We are in a national lock down, which makes it illegal to leave your house for anything other than essential food supplies etc, we can’t travel to the other end of the country to collect a toy.☹️ I will have to be patient for two or three weeks .
