Default advice needed

I have a 2006 crossfire.
I took it to my mechanic and he could not fix the problem.
Towed it to a Chrysler dealership and they found the problem.
Best part is they said they can not fix it because the parts are discontinued.
I have called Chrysler directly as well as several mechanics with no luck.
Everyone tells me they can not get the parts.
So now I have a beautiful lawn decoration because no one can repair my crossfire.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Here is the email from the dealership:Convertible top assembly 5142572ac

Illumination control module 5098638aa

Security/ Air dump 5102774aa
Thanks in advance for any suggestions........

Used from Ebay. What was the car doing? I don't trust Dealerships.

I'm skeptical of the diagnosis.

5142572ac is just the convertible "cloth top" it's not an assembly. If your top is not working it's likely something like a sensor, not the cloth itself.

Illumination control module 5098638aa. That part number is the headlight switch. Why do they think that is bad?

Security/ Air dump 5102774aa. That part number is for a door lock actuator not a secondary air pump.

It would be helpful if you describe the symptoms in detail to the forum. These are all unrelated to any single problem.

Thanks for the feedback.
the back window in the cloth top leaks.
Water pooled on the drivers side floor.
It caused electrical issues.
The headlights would not turn off.
Battery keeps dying.
Car smoked when we started it.
my mechanic could not find the electrical issue so that’s why I had it towed to the dealership.
My mechanic said he could fix it but he can not get the parts.
I might be able to take it to an upholsterer to fix the top??
Thanks again for the help.
I searched eBay but no parts available for sale.....😔

No reason to panic.
The pump Mercedes # 170 800 08 48, and illumination module Mercedes part# 193 545 00 04 are always for sale on eBay. Mercedes part numbers starting with the number 193 were made for the Crossfire but lack the Chrysler part number on them they only show the Mercedes part number.

The back window can be fixed and the method is shown on this forum. Many people decide to replace the top because the window often leaks again.
The pump and illumination modules are Mercedes parts, and there are lots around.
Come to this forum instead of wasting you time at the dealers and get a good diagnosis for free.

1) YOu can reglue the window, but I finally put a new top on. BAS in the UK will deliver a new top to your door fro around $700. Installation is not as hard as you think, many of us replace our own tops.
2) There are drains under the wipers that must be kept clean. Any car sitting under tress a lot get clogged up. THis is an easy fix, the cleanign of the drains, that is.
3) This may be related to 2) but it can also be related to the leaking back window -water can pool in the trunk area and flood the security module, which makes teh lights stay on - the diagnosis that the issue was the light switch/Illumination module is probably in error.
4) If it smoked out the tail pipe, that's a bad head gasket or bad rings - expensive engine work would be needed. If it smoked from under teh hood, it's leaking valve/breather covers - very common and not a hard fix.
5) Big mistake, do not do that again. See my sigline and plug your ears.
6) Many people, some of them my friends, go to eBay for pars. I call these people fools. We can point you to better sources than eBay.

I'd say the first thing to do is to yank the trim from the trunk area and see if the security module is water damaged.
