Hello Everyone , Just picked up this 04 graphite ( I think ) crossfire for what I believe was a steal... ( $600 , they owed me a few bucks too) Its got a missing front grill , and both fenders have a little damaged. Other then that what looks like just a few of the common issues , ABS/BAS light came on after driving 20 miles. TPMS light on. broken drivers interior door handle. Other then that seems to be everything is working fine nothing leaking/missing.
Ill be starting with a good wash and detail. then moving on to the brake light relay, switch and doing the TPMS light disconnect. Looking at one of these aftermarket black front grills and trying to locate some used color matching front fenders to swap out.
you can see the crinkle damage to the front fender is worse on the right side. left fender is just kinked enough to grab the door when opened fully.
I'm changing out the common yellow brake relay tomorrow , and i've done the lock to lock reset.. Is there a " path of least resistance " persay to solving the ABS/BAS light ? I'm rather competent with tools/cars and am doing as much research through the forum as possible at the moment. It was originally not on when I picked up the car but tunred on after 20 ish miles and romping it a bit. Car has been sitting for year ish. Any help is appreciated.
I am curious about the fit and finish of the sunroof. Does it open manual or electric? James
I saw a Crossfire with a sunroof in October 2010, I have photos somewhere and I’ll post them and add some comments.
It was electric and very neatly done, the components looked very well made. The maker's name appears in one interior photo.
