Hi I’m Larry ,I have a 2005 crossfire convertible base model with 51000 miles six speed trans ,purchased it in august of 2022 and I absolutely love this car .It’s a pleasure to be here with like minded people .I I’m interested in finding out as much as I can about my car .I also have a few questions that I would like to post in the forum thanks.

Dose anyone now how many manual transmission wore built for the crossfire ,total Ty ?

The same transmission was also used in Jeeps and others. There were quite a few.

I believe the transmissions in crossfires are made by Mercedes,don’t think they would be in a keep

Chrysler and Mercedes were merged at that time.

Yes, Chrysler built NAG1 (W5A580) transmissions in Kokomo, IN at the Indiana Transmission Plant II . I was the construction services buyer for the plant. The W5A580 in is numerous Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep products.

I suggest you research, the manual transmission used in the Crossfire is the NSG370.

I was referring to the 5 speed automatic. This thread is regarding the 6 speed manual. My bad.
