Greetings!

I'm super excited to be here. I lucked into purchasing a 2008 Chrysler Crossfire last year that is all original, excellent condition 14,000 miles. She now has the primo spot in the garage. I live in Charlotte NC, south side of town. Please reach out if there are any other owners nearby, happy to meet up. I may be bringing my 2008 to car shows soon! It looks like Charlotte has some free ones I can attend.

I'm actually an OG owner though, back in 2006 (for roughly 12 years) I had the most delicious 2005 SRT 6 coupe model and have missed it for years. Those superchargers are awesome but at the time I gave mine up - too expensive to maintain.

Crossfire is my second car, drive it around town once a month or so to stretch her legs. My main driver is a sister/cousin cute little Mercedes AMG. I'm not in any AMG group but figured the Crossfire group would be the way to go. Not sure what else to tell here.

Ironically, most of my family lives very near you in Ohio.... They got to see my prize the evening I flew into Dayton to pick it up, and I drove it to Charlotte the next day! My mom was my first passenger. Ha

 

I'm not the best at mechanical things. But was just looking at this link and already have ideas. I am going to be tinkering tonight with that new ground cable for example... could fix the weird battery dead occasionally issue I am experiencing. Thank you!! Excellent resource. And if anyone is more mechanically in mind and nearby Charlotte and just wants to take a look at her... let me know.

Yes I was excited to see there's something other than the ozarks which was the only thing I knew about in my days with the OG crossfire (the Dragon was around but I just didn't know about this group or that adventure at the time, I'd have LOVED to do the dragon with you all in the SRT... ah well, I probably just would have gone through tires faster... ha). This one came from an estate sale near Findlay Ohio that my brother happened to randomly help facilitate... It's a lovely meant-to-be story. I purchased from the estate of Jimmy Sorrells. He was in poor health for many years as I understand it. Ironically, he drove it to NC/SC as well, to visit the folks who handled his estate who happen to live about an hour away from where I live. Who knows maybe he was a participant in one of your meets? If that's the case, I'll be bringing her back to see old friends!

Re: Sept event in Helen - I have a friend in ATL who may join me just to hang out. She's not a crossfire owner so don't be mean to her. She just needs to get out of the house... Do you need to know if she decides to come that weekend for headcount, etc?

Excellent. I figured! Crossfire folks have to be the coolest to hang out with afterall. Sounds good, she said tentatively she will be there- her name is Faye.
