Hello everyone. We are Don and Lynn from Boiling Springs, SC. We were members on the forum several years ago, but forgot our original login info. We did participate in the Tail of the Dragon get together at Fontana Village in 2012? and had a great time. What a wonderful group of people! We have a 2005 red convertible with about 37,000 miles. Unfortunately, we only take it out about twice a year now for short drives.

 

Nice to have you back! Drive a little farther and meet the group in Helen GA come September; Check out the events thread for more info. This event has replaced the "Dragon" fall event, so hope to meet you there.

Taking in the Crossfire GTG in Helen, GA is a short drive (IMO) - probably 2.5 hours from Boiling Springs. You really ought to consider it - might be a little better than the Fontana GTGs due to other amenities available throughout Helen. Host hotel is probably full, but other lodging is typically available.
