I bought a 05 Blaze Red XF the first week in June. I dont see them often, but I saw a light blue roaster in Woodbridge Va. last week. He had the top down. I tried to catch him but he was too far ahead.

There's a few active on the forum, but I tried in the past to get a meet going or attend local shows with no interest. It doesn't stop me, I attend shows here on the Island as well as CT. Jersey and PA. So far winning 21 awards. Just attended Moapr show in Mystic CT. taking 2nd pl. Heading to Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA next weekend.

I've seen an Aero Blue SRT6 in the North Merrick, East Meadow, Uniondale boarder a couple of times in the past months. All were the same guy (middle to older age anglo gentlleman). Truthfully seeing this person made me very jealous and gave me the extra drive and motivation to purchase an SRT6. At that time I had test driven all the SRT6s available on Long Island and in Northern Jersey at dealerships but none seemed to be a good deal so I was about to give up and buy either a 350z, G35, or an Acura TL. But every time I was about to lose hope I just happened to drive by that same SRT6. Just wondering if that is one of you folks here? And If it is, thanks for the motivation booster. To think I'd be driving a Japanese car if I hadn't driven past you those couple of time.

 

Saw a grey/silver convertable XF on the service road in bay shore..tried to catch up but the suv in front of me likes doing 35 in a 45 apparently

Just saw a Black Roadster going down Old Country Road in Westbury traveling east outside of the Source Mall. It was being driven by a middle aged white female, sadly the weather was crappy so the top was up and there is always alot of traffic in that area. Is that anybody on this forum? On the plus side I was actually coming from the DMV over in that area after registering my new SSB SRT6. Hopefully this weather lets up and I can enjoy my ride when the sun is out.

BTW has anybody here started a rant about how ugly the new NY licence plates are? I'd almost prefer to drive a car with no licence plate at all then put on those mustard colored monstrosities. Anyway I might go to the Bellmore Train station next Friday night and check out their car show scene there (Nice collection of muscle and modern).

 

I kind of like the new plates.. They are going to look right at home on my 73 mustang lol. Is Bellmore still happening? I heard cops blocked off the entrance a few weeks ago.. I'm thinking about going to Massapequa, since I just have to drive a few blocks lol.

 

I'll be at Massapequa on Friday but not with my Crossfire, I'll be there with my Firebird. I didn't hear that they closed down Bellmore but heard that cops were ticketing like crazy and didn't even allow for hoods to be open.

 

I went to Bellmore a month ago, the cops did not let people or cars enter the parking.
One cop explained to us that it was going to be too big, and the cityhall did not want to take care of organizing around this event every week (apparently it needs security, etc...)

So far I know they have a fecebook page but they said nothing about a new place...?
I really like to go there, so many dreamin' cars ! All the ones I was looking at in my childhood, in France !!!

 

Also I'm by Hicksville with a SSB roadster... regurlarly on Old Country Road, Wantagh, Sunrise or Hempstead...

Do you guys want to organize a meeting sometimes in L.I....
