Wow so I learned some new things tonight, First being that the Massapequa Friday show is a really cool show to be at, Secondly there were people still going to the Bellmore show, and lastly doing both the Massapequa show and Bellmore show back to back is awesome. I found that most people start to funnel out of Massapequa around 8:15-8:30 and aren't forced to stay(I thought they got locked in), all while the people in Bellmore stayed until about 9:30.

Sorry acrispy1 I didn't catch ya at either show. I showed up around 7:45 at Massapequa and ended up leaving at 8:30 to go to the Bellmore show. I did find out that the Bellmore show is indeed in limbo but it will probably continue on for the forseeable future, the only catch is people will probably have to pay a small fee soon to show there.

Also in regards to this Sunday I hear that there is a chance of rain later on in the day so I might not make the St. James show. Captree is still up in the air as well but I'm still leaning towards it. I'll keep y'all updated.

I WILL see another Crossfire at a show eventually!!!

 

I saw a red roadster on Carmens Rd in Massapequa heding into the mall on Sunday around 5:30pm, anyone on here?

Saw a Black SRT6 Roadster getting on to the Meadowbrook Parkway at on ramp M4/M5. Didn't see the plates so I have no idea if it was anybody here. (East Meadow Area on Hempstead Turnpike and Merrick Road). No matter what,That car looked sinister in black!!!

I spotted a light gray srt-6 parked just off of howells road in Deer park last week. Was gonna knock, but i was in a rush!

The weather should be dry but on the cooler side. However on the plus side, all the rain hitting the island tonight and tomorrow should wash away all the residual road salt and sand.

If anybody does decide to go, be careful if you take ocean parkway. I hear that there are more cops patroling the area for body dumpers!!!

"Warning" When I said that there might be cops patroling Ocean Parkway, that was a big understatement. There is an extreme amount of cops and speed traps!!!

I must have passed half a dozen on Ocean Parkway alone, and there had to be 3 more set up on the Robert Moses parkway. Luckily I let all the Mustangs and Corvettes get all the Police attention!!!

So be safe, and be carful if you decide to check out any of the Sunday morning south shore shows.

On a side note I was the only crossfire there, so I guess if it was a judged show, I would have "WON" my class. (Wink Wink)

 

last night i was thinking about going to captree, then i woke up this morning 7:30 got ready n realized that it was daylight savings and that it was 9:30 by the time i was ready so igot food with the girlfriend instead

BTW, as a kid, I spent my summers in Sound Beach, as my parents had a bungalow there. SB is 10 minutes East of Port Jeff, on the Sound.

I bought the SB house from my parents in 1985, so my kids enjoyed it while growing up. Just recently sold the house to my niece, so it's all in the family till this day...lol.

If a meet was ever set up on LI, I would definitely attend...
