Professional radio installation in DC area
Anyone had an aftermarket receiver installed in the Washington/VA/MD area? (Cross out the possibility of me installing it myself - might as well ask me to build a rocket ship and fly it to the sun). The most prominent advertisers in the area yellow pages don't carry JVC and the receiver I want is JVC-KDHDR1, which has built in satellite radio receiver and built in HD tuner for $200. Circuit City sells it and offers free installation with all receivers over $99. I just wonder if there will be "oh, you have a crossfire, then it's x extra for this part or this other thing." And the XM tuner goes under the seat so who knows what they'll charge to install that. Also wonder if they react like Chrysler dealership service depts do when you bring an xfi in -- like you just arrived in a UFO. Don't like the idea of someone installing it who has not on a Crossfire before. Anyone had work like this done in the DC area and was happy with it? Or at Circuit City in any area and been happy with it?
MyerEmco AudioVideo, I had my radio installed at the one in Frederick and I was the first Crossfire they’ve ever done. He took his sweet time because he didn’t want to mess any thing up. His exact words were, “Sorry it took me so long, your car is just to pretty to do a half a** job!”.
