i blew my fly wheel sunday lol and crank position sensor and the crank position sensor wheel.... guess i will be seeing it in another 2-3 weeks lol. guess i just shouldnt drive the car, i also told them to fix my valve covers as they are leaking now with just under 13k but im picking the covers up before they reinstall so i can polish them up. any body know what the intake manifold gasket set costs? or what all is involved in removing it?

 

Wow man, howd you manage to do that? I thought for sure youd be saying you sucked in water and locked up the engine using your "modified" intake.

 

nope thats what the bypass valve is for lol, i actually thought when it just died on me in the middle of the road that i had sucked up a leaf or something being as i have no air filter lmfao

Hey guys, I was hesitant to post on the srt6 thread about having 500hp, but I did and of course the haters came out. I appreciate the ones who have seen the car and met me, that defended me! You guys are the best! My point was to push the envelope not start a war, but a war has started and as soon as it warms up around here, I promise I will lay down the fastest pass in a srt-6 to date! I'm in Calvert County, about 15 miles south of Upper Marlboro.

 

wow i keep getting really confuzed on who is who but i think i knew that haha. so i am pretty mad there is a guy around howard county with a black SRT6 that he took the SRT6 wing off and converted it to a base wing that stays up. he has boost gauges on the inside and the car looked pretty nice. I got his number at a light and we started talkin and he said he would sell me a magna-flow muffler for 50 which i jumped all on. he ended up tellin me he would meet me in 30 minutes one night along 40 so i went out to wait and he never showed up. i called him for the next week with no answer then a couple days ago he texts me and says that he can not find the muffler but was trying to sell me some HID's. people these days.

 

I'm glad you started that thread. Haters are going to hate, but you can't let them stop you from sharing good info. Keep on building that thing up , because I know theres got to be more power to be had. My personal goal is to break into the 11's this spring/summer.

 

Hey Jeff, when you said you launched the car the other day to 125, did you have the slicks on too?

 

Yes, and what a nasty ride! It hooked up and only spun about 5 feet with traction control off. Launching at around 2000 rpm. I will be going to mir in about two weeks, I'll let you know the exact date. It is going to take me some practice to figure out rpm launches etc. but thats what test and tunes are for right. get ansrt 6 front bumper! if there is actual work beyond body work take it to the stealership not to a body shop!

 

If the weather is nice I am planning on running at MIR on the 29th of march. This is the official opening day with a test and tune and swap meet, I'll let you all know next friday after seeing the weather. Everybody come and try out their cars! or just watch!

 

May be able to make it to MIR on Saturday, March 29 to cheer you on. When your plans are set, give us an approximate time that you will be there and we'll find you at the track!
