Police said Ira Stephen Kaye, 45, of the 300 block of Oak Knoll Drive in Rockville was operating a Chrysler Crossfire and backing out of the right side of his garage about 7:30 a.m. and apparently failed to put the car in park when he attempted to get out of the vehicle. Police said the Crossfire continued to move.

They said there was a BMW parked on the left side inside the garage and a Chevrolet Malibu parked in the left side of the driveway at the time.

Police said the Crossfire scraped the passenger side of the Malibu parked next to the Crossfire and that the man became trapped between the Malibu parked in the driveway and the BMW as the Crossfire continued to move.

Man, I am going to be more careful with the parking brake.

I hope this wasn't someone that we know from the forum. Still I feel for his family.

RIP

No other idiot besides himself, and I am still trying to figure out how he got killet by the XFire? That cal only comes up to my knees, and I can see getting his legs at leat partially amputated...and then the cal rolled (aparently not in gear implying neutral) back toward the house, Aren't most driveways sloped away from the house for drainage?

I Still feel sorry for him and his family, mid-life crises - hell end-life crisis!
